make sure that you play from the wrist...that marimba is a bit low for you, so it'll be really tempting to play with a lot of arm, especially during louder sections. some advice: go buy two feet of PVC pipe with a diameter just slightly narrower than the marimba's wheels. then just cut it in to 2" or 3" segments (this leaves you with extra piping in case you whiff on a cut) and put the segments under the wheels. this will raise the marimba to a comfortable playing height for taller musicians.

i liked it but it ended too soon
