@WeareGenovese to me "pop punk" is the shit on mtv of bands selling out trying to make profit off of punk(while the real punk bands don't make shit) i don't like classifying different gendre's of punk... to me there is pop-punk(fake sellout punk) and punkrock.

@20P373R20 First of all selling out by definition is doing something you don't want to, for money. You state pop punk, and I quote is "selling out to make profit from punk" while "the real punk bands don't make shit" and yet i'd say Tim Armstrong, Fat Mike, Dexter Holland and Brett Gurewitz have all done pretty well from cashing in on punk rock. Go check Epitaph's website where Brett Gurewitz calls New Found Glory his "heavyweights of pop punk" and yes Millencolin are a pop punk band.

@susuplaysguitar Punk is more about not subcribing to the normal beliefs and values of society. Where as most people want to go to school, get a good job, and make a reputation for themselves, punks are about getting drunk and having a good time, no matter the consequences.

Just a stirring, inspirational, nostalgic, stunning song. It's the type of song that so many musicians (myself included) will spend an entire lifetime trying to write...perfection. One of the very best songs of the decade, regardless of whether or not it's a mainstream appeal.
