What movement you get might depend on where you get it from.Amazon is still showing the Miyota movement.Other venders are said to ship the Seiko made movement.I think they are both good,but the Miyota can be hand wound.
@mmacho73 I think you had meant to say 8926 correct? The difference between current Invicta 8926 models as I understand are as follows. The 8926A has a scallop edge bezel, the 8926C stand for "Coin Edge" bezel, like the watch in the video. Now if I have this correct the 8926OB came about when Invicta ceased making the original coin edge and they fans wanted that look back. So Invicta produced the 8926OB standing for "Old Bezel". I could be wrong, correct me if I am.
@mmacho73 No problem. IMHO the 8926 is the best watch for under 100 dollars you can buy. Where did you decide to purchase your 8926 with Miyota if you dont mind me asking? I am looking for one with the Mioyta only. Nothing wrong with the NH25A. I just prefer the ability to manually wind.
@mmacho73 The only one gold plated Invicta that I have seen that I personally liked was the 8928OB. Has a blue face and blue and gold bezel, gold crown and two tone gold bracelet. Anyway enjoy your 8926. Take care.
@mmacho73@nls8520 Also the 8926OB is a coin edge bezel I wanted to add that to not confuse you. Essentially the difference is the 8926A is scalloped and the 8926OB is coin edge bezel.
UPDATE: I have heard that the 8926 are now being made with the NH25A movement that is made by SEIKO.This movement winds in both directions but you can not wind it by hand.If you want an 8926 with the Miyota movement the time to buy might be now.
