(Gambino199) The plot twist in TS is that Arnold's original character (the T-800) is supposed to come online 10 yrs earlier than what Sarah Conner told her son in the previous films, or at least this is what Skynet is going to try to achieve, & if they are made that soon, humanity will be screwed! Also that's the whole purpose of introducing the Harvester/big robot. So it can capture humans so Skynet can complete their research in time for an early release! Get it.

excited about this movie. I have noticed since sarah connor chronicles alot of shit has been kinda filled in,ad libed and a lot of "rules" have kinda changed. Oh well I still must watch it all..gotta. This has become one of the greatest epic sagas of my life time as I am 26. I have been watching and reading all I can for 19 years now. Yea, I like Christian Bale and I am excited about this film. Hopefully it is not just a p.o.s. money grab exercise. Oh and they must have a cameron in it, please.

Because the terminators are made of alloy. They have a big resistance to EMP, and besides, Skynet took over all the EMPs remember? There wasn't more than two terminators walking around at the time of preventing Judgement Day.

Skynet decided annihilation in MILLISECONDS. Who has a chance of sendinga eMP before nukes launched?

Also, do you remember in T2 when Sarah opens T-800-101's head? THE WHOLE HEAD IS ENCASED IN ALLOY. There is no way EMP can get through electro-resistant material protecting the CPU.

From the looks of things T3 is being kind of "forgotten" and most of the new story lines comming out are being written as though some sort of "alternate universe" plan from that film is being used in the new storys. I could be wrong but that is what I am gathering.

1: Time travel and the paradox about if you change the past does the future ever happen? and other ideas like that.

EMP sheilding? i dunno about the new movies, but in the EU (expanded universe, comics, books, etc.) the places that got nuked were mostly russia and china, australia was actually completely left alone because they didn't have a standing military and skynet didn't see them as a threat.

This probably sounds stupid but that kind of looked like Edward Furlong (0:56) , so is it possible that these Terminator movies are all set in different "realities and so there might be more than one John Connor, listen closely to the intro in T2:Judgement Day with Sarah Connors voice over "The only question is which one would reach him first" it does not necassarily refer to the commander as being John (he could be an infiltrator, remeber that the machines evolved)

OMG !! your a douchebag indeed, Those huge terminator robots specially at the last scene are the first terminators that came out, if you see Terminator 1 and 2 intros you will see them, the other humanlike terminators T-600, T-800 were made later on, Arnolds models too, and Bale will be an awesome John Connor, this takes place in 2018 way before the first T-800 was made which takes place in 2027, get your facts straight FAGGOT and watch Terminator 1 and 2, T3 WILL BE IGNORED.
