  • If u really luved guinea pigs u would no what a cc cage is. a cc cage is a cage made from cubes (used as storage) and coroplast/coretherm/corex (used to make signs) and thier is a lot of other names. tt is different than other cages because u can make it as big as u want and can customize it to have different levels

  • Ohh I also made a Cage Tour like you! FOr my CHinchillas =)

Do you like it? If Yes, Thump up That comment =)

  • my guinea can climb out and bites the bar of his cage...

  • @leannnnne2cool Guinea pigs can't climb so how on earth can he/she climb out, do you mean he/she jumps on top of their beds to get out

  • @Guineapig321 i suppose so

  • its not good to have a house of plastic they havent air in there

  • hi laura! i am just redaing the japan garden.co.uk one and how many cubes is it for?

  • woooooooooow ! soo cool :)

  • It's called cloroplast and you can get it at home depo

  • what size c&c cage you recommend for 2 guinea pigs? 2x3, 2x4, or 2x2?

  • @MrWhenwherewhat NOT 2x2, that's too small for even 1, so lets look at the others. bigger is better no matter what, and the biggest you can do is best. 8 sq. ft (2x4) or more is recommended for 2 pigs, and one pig should be 2x4 also, but if not, 2x3.

  • seen a bigger one

    wow 28,311 views

    that is ok

  • Wow that will get real dirty with piggies urine.

  • hi , can i know how u going to clean the poo & pee ? with this cage

  • @doi0728 its easy- use a dust pan and scoop out the bedding

  • was this befor the 1 bigger cage

  • Your guniea pigs are so cute! :D

  • Where did you get that cage?

  • @jmac3595 she made it :) its a c&c cage

  • @beckybuddy18

You dont HAVE to build a cage like this if you are gonna get some guinea pigs but it would make them much happier and give them much better lives. Plus a lot of times you save a hunk of cash to build a cage like this then buy one of the same size.

  • If you get a guinni pig you have to get a cage like that?

  • your cage is pretty cool but please dont use plastic houses :(

  • excuse me but im making one of those cages and im going crasy becuse i dont no how to make one PLZ MAKE A VIDEO HOW OH PLZ OH PLZ WITH A CHERRY ON TOP :O

  • Hi With The Little Corner Toilet. Do They Acctually Use It?

  • how do you clean it?

  • wats the plastic bottom called?

  • i love your guinea pig house it awesome.

  • nice cage

  • this cage is good

  • It looks very nice, but Isn't it hard to clean?

  • can they get up to the second floor easily?

  • Hi there! You seem very educated about guinea pigs based on your other videos! I am very interested in buying 1 or 2 and I was wondering if you could just help me and answer some questions. For instance, I noticed you don't have shavings for your pigs. I've heard about the C&C cages. The cubes are easy for me to get but he coroplast not so much. Is there something that i can use as an alternative like your cage? And where is a good place to buy one other than a shelter? thank you!.

  • @W3bkinzGirl519 in America mine was like $20 and $15 extra if you want them to cut it

  • hey how much coroplast is it a 4x8 sheet

  • with a cage as lovely as this what about clean up?? is there a way to train my piggies to go in one corner? i have two males (2 months and 1 year)

  • where do you get the coraplast

  • cud u make a video on how u made it and how many boxes of the b&q ones u used am in the uk am going to build one from b&q but dont know how many to use and like the floor and all the stuff u need and how to build cud u do a vid thx

p.s did u make urs out of the b&q ones message me

  • @XxInStIcTsXx No I didn't make mine out of the B&Q ones. If you watch my other videos it talks you through how i made mine - watch the video of my C&C kitchen and building the ramps :)

  • wow! i bet ur guinea pigs r so happy! its so cool! how do they not climb out?

  • @sugarcandies101 They can't climb at all. They wouldn't even try to escape, they are very timid and are reluctant to ever leave their home where they feel safe :)

  • @Piggiepigpigs what are you using for the floor of the cage, and how do you clean it? PLEASE reply my guinea pigs cage are to small and im thinking about getting a one like this

  • whats the wire fince stuff called and where can i get it????

  • @justinfan17 The wire sides are just known as cubes. The plastic base is coroplast. If you look at my info bar I have a list of websites on there. You can also get them off ebay. I have a better video than this one with my upgraded cage - you will get a much better insight into the cage etc. I also have a video on how I built my ramps and kitchen areas (on the new videos) Thanks, xox

  • @Piggiepigpigs can you imagine people feeding this to snakes they are so gorgeous and funny and i hate the videos of a girl who post on youtube snakes atacking guine pigs and rebbits it touchs my heart when they scream and i feel sad , and in onje of the videos she laughs when a rabbit is screaming for help if she was next to me i would slap her. I know the snakes have to eat but give them rats but dead not alive that way they dont feel a thing.

  • wow, my girls would love this, hopfully ording a c&c cage for them at the end of the month :) xXx how much pennys did this cost xXx

  • @Kiwicavies

It would be alot better probally saying pounds

  • @Kiwicavies Well I think I have spent around £100 so far! Did you order your cage?

  • How big is this cage?

  • @CHAH13 it is around 7 foot long one side by about 2 foot, the smaller side where Gus lives is about 5 foot by 2 foot.

  • hey, piggiepigpigs....i have this amazing idea, but 1st, do you know the measurements for the 10 pound corotherm? xx

  • @creativitychick101 Hey, sounds interesting! The 10 quid piece is 1200mm by 1200mm.

  • Thanks! yur so helpfull! xx

  • @creativitychick101 i'm intrigued to see what you're up to!

  • haha! that made me laugh ! :) it will all become clear :)...i will buy the corotherm in the easter holidays which is 2 weeks away, and then i will have the cage set up and make a vidoe of it!:) hopefully everything will work! xx

  • I would say they are the same although you get some mesh ones in the pack which would be great for the upstairs flooring, look for mesh cube on e-bay, there's a few sellers. The correx on e-bay is 28.95 GBP free delivery for 10 x 1m square sheets 4mm thick, which i thought was great value.

  • Great posting with all the info and love the cage, but just thought i'd let you all know that the materials are available on e-bay, cube systems around 14-20 GBP even with postage it works out better value, thats for 16 panels and the connectors, you can also get the correx too 29GBP for 10 meter square panels inc delivery :)

  • @sanbumpski Yeh I saw some on ebay but I needed to match the ones I already had so stuck to my local garden centre. Are the ones off ebay really strong? they looked a bit more flimsy? Correx is really good value from B&Q - I bought loads from there.

  • coool stuff bro

  • ROB BUY YOUR MUM A GUINEA PIGLET

  • I have just been on the B&Q website and found clear corotherm, is that what you used? :)

  • Yes thats the stuff. On the website it seems more expensive but they only have the larger sizes on there (or they did last time I looked) if you go in store, they have smaller pieces for like £7 and £10 -and this stuff is clear in colour and much stronger than the regular correx.

  • do u have to have a top to the cage???????

  • Hi, no I don't have a top to my cage. The piggies can't jump that high and have never even tried to escape in the 3 months i've had the cage. They are quite timid and like their home, I doubt they'd even try to escape even if I gave them the chance!

  • Hi Guys!! Please watch my new video uploaded a few minutes ago - it shows my BIGGER and IMPROVED C&C cage!! Thanks

  • Also the cubes look really expensive, I thought they would be cheaper! Anywhere where they are cheaper?

  • I live in the UK and want to make a c&c cage too. Did you use cubes on the base of the cage or not?

  • No on the base its just the corotherm. I'll show you on my next vid i'm posting. The cubes are expensive but it was the only place that sell them locally. You can get them off the internet - i've put all the info on the side bar. You can ocasionally get them off ebay too as storage cube systems. The only place i've heard that sell them in store is Costco Wholesale but you need to own or be part of a business to get a membership card to get in :(

  • omg this is a great video and great info too!!! only i had seen this video a long time ago the n i would of known where to buy everythingf or ym pugs, i had to find everything for my self and it took me months just to find cubes and then i found them on ebay.........great great vid!!!

  • Thanks :) stay tuned as this week i'm uploading my new cage - i've expanded it :)

  • where did you find the correx? i know there is plenty to find in the U.K, but i need a cheap one. i already spent 20 pounds on the cubes and i spent 10 pounds on fleece

  • Hi again, I've put all my supplies info in the info bar. The correx is from B&Q in the buildrs yards outside. Its just over £7 for a large sheet of it - this is actually a lot stronger than normal correx. It's also clear and frosted so easy to see stains that may need cleaning off it. Tune in to my channel as i'm expanding my C&C cage this weekend and will post a new video with instructions etc this time! Did you manage to get any grids? How far are you along with your cage? xx

  • omg! thankyou! i cannot thank you enough! i will get me father to take me to B+Q next week, xx

So far i have bought most of the grids, but i need about 7 more. and i have bought twice as much fleece as i need, so i can switch between fleeces after cleaning x

i was going to buy my grids from that site, but you only get 6, and P+P is 8 pounds. But i found someone on ebay that was selling and i got 26 grids for the same price! xx

  • Glad you got your grids! I have expanded my cage today, it's now in an "L" shape and has a longer 1st floor. I'll post a video some time this week. I went to B&Q again today and the stuff they sell is called "Corotherm". You can get loads of different sizes. The smallest comes in at £7.28 and I bought a piece today which is twice the size of the £7.28 one and that worked out about £10 so was better value. You should post a video when yours is done too! :)

  • ahh thats so cool ill check the website now! and yeah, imight do :) xx

  • Oh and another thing, I got a load of Towels from Primark which we in the sale (but Primark is cheap anyways!) and the fleeces there are £2 each! They have loads of different colours and patterns.

  • ahh cool! i will probably go to primark for the towels. unfortunatly, i laready spent 10 pounds on fleece :( xx

  • @creativitychick101 - I've just had a look at my sheet and it is called "Corotherm Polycarbonate Glazing sheet" and the brand it is made by is "Ariel". Mine is 4mm thick "Twinwall" and the size is 61cm by 122 cm and this is the £7.28 one. I don't think they have it on the website - only the massive pieces are on there. The larger B&Q stores have different sizes in it.

  • yeah, i checked the site and the cheapest they had was 20 pounds. i will go into the store ina few weeks. i need to buy the rest of my grids first :) i will send you a picture of before and after once it is made :) xx

  • THANKYIU THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU! i have been looking for these in the U.K for 2 years! you dont know how happy i am :) xx

  • You're welcome! I hope you find the supplies you need to build a cage! If you find any cubes in places I haven't listed it'd be really nice if you could post them on here to help more people in the UK :) Thanks for your comment too :)

  • Hi there, my grids are 14" X 14". Adult piggies won't be able to get through the holes. To be honest, I don't think Guinea pigs even try and escape, they like to hide and stay where it's familiar. I have heard that Costco sell the C&C storage kits but you need a business membership to get in there.

  • thanks very much for the information in where to buy!! its a great help.

  • No problems, I hope it helps more people here in the UK as it is so hard to source the materials. Let me know if you decide to build a cage! it's the best thing i did for my piggies!
