Boy, this takes me back! When we sang this song we KNEW we had been to chuuch - sweating in the snow! Yeah I was a first soprano, and to this day, whenever that song gets played, there I go on that note (even when I visit a church - can't help it). No, pittbullblack,
I would love a copy of this too... I love me some ST. JAMES... This is how choirs sang here in Nashville, TN.... There are only a few choirs that sing just like ST. JAMES....Good ol' gospel!!!!
Good ol' flat foot sangin'. Man how I miss those day's. I was just a kid but i still remember the feeling of seeing everyone around me slain in the spirit on a regular basis, and without pretense.
o give thanks to the lord for all he has done o give thanks to the lord for this race we have won for he's already done, what he said he would do o give thanks, give thanks to the lord. when i was hungry, lord you fed me with manna from on high, when i was thirsty, flowing water from the fountain that never runs dry, when i was lost, lord you found me, put your loving arms around me, o give thanks, give thanks to the lord.
It is always good to hear this around Thanksgiving Day. I miss the O' Give Thanks concerts around that time. Does anyone have an old song called "Through it all" I believe a lady named Renee was the lead singer. If you have it can you post it, that song is a blessing.
SHE IS WORKING THAT TAMBOURINE!

I remember singing this song in church when I was a kid. I sure do miss the days when choirs wore choir robes.

This is one my favorite choirs in the world. And JD is THE Director. Why does he wear gloves?
llrobertsonjr 2 years ago
J.D. wore the gloves because he had lupus. The illness made the nerves in his hands real sensitive.
