  • the std ecu is not being used anymore expect to run the rev counter and coolant temp...

    the lights can be deactivated.

anyhow, a phase 1 172 actually has no warning lights on when we fit an aftermarket ecu, its just the abs light on there due to the fact the rear wheels are not turning...

  • like a christmas tree with the amount of warning lights on that dash !!! The stock ecu clearly likes been itb'ed and chipped lol.

  • the airbag light is on because I put on a sparco steering wheel without an airbag.

lol @ standard ecu, omex 600 was used.

  • sounds sexual!!

  • That's in 4th yeah?

  • best sound ever

  • Throttle bodies sound awesome! Thats the only thing that sounds better than my simota carbon filter IMO, its funny that the indicator to change gear flashes at around 6500rpm but it goes 1500 higher lol

  • I think it goes through the red becuase its been chipped...and the gear change light is normally before the limiter too....i didnt know that until i had a rev gauge with light fitted!

Whats the air filter youv got? Is it anygood? What car you got too?

  • I have the clio 172 facelift model. The filter fitted is the simota carbon fibre air box which was £210 off ebay. Retail is £250 but IMO its the best money i have spent. Sounds a lot better than any KN filter and gives real performance gains! (site says 13bhp but i wouldnt of thought quite that much)
