I paid to see the Vagina Monologues and my impression is that it was a long but interesting hate speech with some humor thrown in for good measure. Why would a group of feminists promote contempt for men and masculinity, perpetuate and exaggerate false gender stereotypes, a victim mentality, scapegoating, and a gynocentric world view? Because feminists in general have done a 180, they are not what they once were. Either "feminism" aquires a new pejorative meaning, or they find a new word.

Who is usually responsible for the raising of children, including male children? Who then is responsible for men who find it acceptable to violently abuse women? Their upbringing may hold the core root? Woman don't respect men anymore, and for many reasons that are understandable. Men in turn don't respect woman. I like how feminists try to raise money for sexual assault and violence by performing a play that in quite some detail describes the rape and molestation of a 13yo girl by a much older women (the little coochy snoocher that could). I actually thought that's what made the plat vulgar. Not that it had the word "vagina" in it. I could be wrong as after all we are informed by the play that that's the "good rape". So it cant be vulgar if its good rape can it?

that was a woman's personal expirience of sexuality and statuatory rape. no it isn;t a good way to find one'e self sexually but that's how this one woman found it. If you listen/read the play there is an intro saying this is one woman's story. Eve ensler did not make that part of the play up.
