  • I never understood the love for this movie. I love lots of 80s movies. What is so special about this one though?

  • I would like see to a young Andy Garcia at the bad boy role

  • This film is the bizz..along with St Elmo's fire..Pretty in Pink..Some kind of Wonderful..The Brat Pack films of the 80's were THE films to watch.

  • i love this movie :3

  • We will miss you Lando Griffin

  • gave me chills.. (:

  • 11 People didn't get to go fishing this weekend.

  • They don't make movies like this anymore. It's all about big budget, big explosions, and oozing with uber sex. I'm happy to say this movie was a part of MY generation.

  • Best movie ending ever............I mean ever

  • @MEareCAT if you think the 90's rocked, then you must be in your twenties or early thirties, and therefore have no idea...there's a reason why there are so many of us "pretentious douchebags" around.

  • I'm gonna do that the day I graduate.

  • classic... just plain classic !

  • my dad showd me this movie and i fell in love with it its a good ending to :)

  • Best ending to a movie EVER !

  • Best Fist Pump Ever!

  • Seriously Hollywood Producers, Directors and Writers, do not, I repeat DO NOT do a remake of The Breakfast Club!

  • The 80's were awesome for movies.

don't, don't, don't, don't. don't you forget about me. ♥ best fuckin' ending ever, hear me saying.

  • The 70's and 80's were definitely the best...the 70's was just plain fun ( nobody sued) , was the era of classic rock and no rules, things were still cool in the 80's but yuppies marked the beginning of corporate greed on a higher scale...what happened in the 90's ?? Nirvana I guess, the Seattle influence, but not much else...2000's?? Everything got stupidly expensive and the fun was gone... If you weren't alive "back in the day" you don't know what you missed. The 90's were the end of anything

  • @modularhalfpipe The 90's rocked. I'm sick of you pretentious douchebags who are stuck in the past.

  • @MEareCAT We are not pretentious...we are cool we have style we are the freak'n 80's babies..

  • Enable Embedding On The Video! Gheez, you stubby larvae penises. WTF? Don't go all corporate on us like we're the Janitors and you're Emilio's Over-Concerned-&-Husky macho dad, okay?

Let us share this awesome movie with other people on messageboards and e-mails. Let us embed them! It's not as "shocking" as it was in the 80's, so WGN, TBS (now completely sucks by the way), TNT, etc don't play it as much. But it's still a cult classic! It's AWESOME!

Please let us embed. I love you. TY.

  • please tell me somebody else was brought here because of saints row 2.

  • @Mega911Gamer nope we all saw this as kids

  • @FathomLordKarathr cool story bro

  • @capsule56 Miss the point of it much? It's about people who have been labelled reflected as individuals you simpleton.. Thesis enforced situation forces them to cross social barriers. Your IQ could probably only manage half the jokes in this and only three quarters in Ferris anyway.

  • Name of song

  • @y6363q ISNT OBVIOUS its dont you forget about me by simple minds

  • @y6363q

    dont you

  • 8 people were in detention on saturday!

  • ohh yeah fist pump

  • i wonder what happened on monday

  • i wonder what mr vernon thought of the essay he wrote

  • R.I.P lando James woods high school will forever remember you

  • rest in peace lando

  • why did he raise his fist when he accomplished nothing ? =|

  • @shadowkid1993 it's because they beat the system, even if only for a day. The message of the movie was that the school system forces us into stereotype groups, jocks, nerds, loners, cool kids and troublemakers. The kids in this movie came to the realisation that they were more than that, they were all just kids and more alike than htey realized and that when the school lost it's grip they could be friends and relate to each other..

  • @rarghau

Society forces people into stereotype groups.

    This movie sucked.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off was a lot better.

  • @rarghau

I encompassed all that, except for jocks.

  • @rarghau No, the school system doesnt force that, its we as people, as a society, our evolution of fears, insecurities that do that. Seriously you cant be suggesting that serious studies and research on the subject be erased due to a single interpretation of a film, who's film maker didnt intend that at all from his viewpoint.

People SOCIALIZE... meaning they form into their social habits, cliques and circles... with or without a school system.

  • @rarghau yeah and that judd nelsons fucking harsh

  • @shadowkid1993 I think he raised his fist because he got to kiss the 'princess' :-)

  • @nuclearpavlova she is ugly anyways...

  • A near perfect ending to a great movie. Seriously, that shot at 0:44 is fucking IMMORTAL, with the scenery and the epic fist pump.~

I say "near" because it also makes me sad to realize that they may never speak to each other again. But then I suppose if that did happen on Monday, it would defeat the whole point of this movie. A lot of comedies just can't compare to this story-telling wise imo.

But I swear, if they ever do a remake on this classic and fuck it up, Imma flip my shit. >8E

  • @wespolly Soon as he gave the fist pump and then the screen froze it always gave me goosebumps. This was a classic and I would love to see a 25 year reunion movie.

  • @wespolly They can NEVER make a "remake" of this movie. John Hughes was an amazing talent and really tuned into the "teen" way of thinking back in the 80's. From The Breakfast Club, to 16 Candles, to Ferris Buller's Day Off, Weird Science, Pretty in pink, etc., I remember thinking (at age 17) that this guy GOT it. Please no remake! (see Road house II - or Dirty Dancing remake shudder)

  • @wespolly Um dude.......St. Elmo's Fire......

  • Most iconic movie of the 80's in my opinion.

  • 14 years young and i love this movie xD <3

  • :37

  • This movie was ahead of its time

  • How many eople have walked that field with arm hoisted in the air with the song playing through their heads? It would number in the 100's of thousands

  • @soccerskilj I did today after a football game

  • Awesome movie!!

  • I had to write an essay on this movie for our final exam in grade 6 english class, best teacher ever, she taught us way more than anyone else ever could over that one semester and than showed us this awesome movie at the end

  • This song must be played in last day of school! :'(

  • im doing this on senior year

  • I AM THE BREAKFAST CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The letter is brilliant and simple

  • Does barry manilow know you raid his closet?

  • im walking on the track and raising my arm with my friends on the last day of senior year

  • RIP Mr. Vernon

  • There is a serious lack of air punching, just like that, in todays movies.

  • @toonuraccoon dude finished restoring my motorbike after 2 years yesterday i closed the garage door and was walking away from it totaly did this one of my fav movies ever only way it could have been better if simple minds had shuffled onto my iphone

  • @XxDaRkPhAnTaSy Had you been wearing the Predator helmet at the time?

Best thing in life ever: Walk past a persons house and outside on the driveway next to a bitchin motorbike is a dude wearing a Predator helmet air punching like a boss.

  • @toonuraccoon nope but i have a predator helmet upstairs and will considder it was once offered a predator hempet to fit the light on my motorbike but i couldent do it love my bike too much

  • @toonuraccoon Whoever does not agree with you is the Socialist Muslim Anti-Christ.

  • @toonuraccoon constantiomovie com

  • Why foes he thrust his fist in the air like that?

  • @GirlfromNE96 because he wins at life man, he wins at life

  • @GirlfromNE96 he claims his desire to fisting gods!

  • thumbs up if this ending made you cry {:

  • 6 people didnt think that answered his question

  • one of the great 80's flicks

  • one of the best endings to a movie

  • I love this movie so much.

"Eat... My... Shorts" Oh Bender... I love you.

  • The breakfast club is amazing

  • Comment removed

  • i like the ending ? " you see us? the way you? want to see us? " i like that? awesome :)

  • i saw on family guy

  • god, i love the 80's. makes me glad i was born in '85

  • I'm 15 and this is one of my fav films. i just finished school and all though in england we don't openly steryotype i can relate these to ppl i know. 80's films are brillient :D

oh i'm a brain btw haha.

  • Inspireing, thats what comes to my mind when i see this. This movie helped me a bit, and i'm glad i watched it! This was personally my favorite scene from the movie. Thank you "The Breakfast Club."

  • John Bender and Clark Kent are my idols. And yes I am a little to old to see Super Man as an idol. Got a problem with that?

  • @juniormafia132 never too old to idolize the Man of Steel

  • @VicVega93 Hahha yup cuz hes a super pimp in tights lol

  • i always thought at the end tht he killd himself

  • @cahr412

    whaaaaaat are you talking about?!

  • @cahr412 wen i was a child i thought tht the kid at the end killd himself idk y

  • Best 80's movie forever. Best 80's highschool movie. Possibly best highschool movie. And possibly best coming of age tale ever!

  • @JesusPaid4You Get off YouTube

  • That fist pump beats Jersey Shore.

  • I swear i watched this at least 100 times in a row

  • If you wanted to "Grow up" in the 80's, you had to have been born in the 70's. I was born in 83' which makes me a 90's kid

  • BEst ending!

  • I think the shot of sky in this scene is essential.. wouldn't have the same effect without it!

  • i used to love this movie as a kid

  • His essay was less than 1,000 words! tsk tsk tsk

  • @ABandApart01 but it was worth a thousand words. :)

  • @LezDropSomMadBeatzYo right you are friend this will always be in my top 10 favorite movies of all time.

  • I'm 46yrs old so i'm right in that demographic. That movie didn't so much define or codify our generation as it did confirm what we already knew about who we were.

That movie and others of the era: St Elmo's fire, pretty in pink, The big chill, Ferris Bueller's day off...etc chronicled the angst and rebellion that was felt but in a bright and positive way.....and with the best soundtracks ever!

  • @unclerickie1 yep thats wat my mom and dad say and i myself love the songs

  • Fave movie in da world!!!!!!!!!!

  • I was only about 5 yrs old. I still remember my older brother and sister baby sitting me and taking me to the movies. We were with all their friends. I never understood a thing except remembering this last scene with judd nelson. Such an awesome movie. I love the 80's!!!

  • Not to B*tch or anything .. But YOUR video gets to stay up with the original Audio in tact..yet I post the same thing, with ME narrating..and it's TAKEN DOWN!! WHAT THE HELL?! dUDE...THIS STINKS!

  • best part was that he change the essay at the end. basicly it went from being kind to being straight up and in your face. now adays they would have a huge amount of meeting with your paretns about what is wrong with you and how you feel. then mabey a detention or referal. Funny thing is this bit basicly awesners any questions they could ask. "how do you feel? what do you want to achieve. Play this and bam awnserd

  • pssssh. Everybody thinks Pauly D and the people from Jersey Shore created the fist pump. Yeah right! Judd Nelson all the way!!

  • I saw this movie, and I was like "PETER DID THAT IN FAMILY GUY!"

  • @Dougaloon

and everyone around you realized how much you fail at life.

  • @orinanime How? Because I remembered this scene from Family Guy? -_-

  • @Dougaloon

because you referenced family guy at all.

the show for the socially inept losers of the world.

but more importantly, you brought up the crappy tv show reference when watching the ORIGINAL.

kinda meant to be handled in the reverse order.

    so, yeah

    you fail on multiple levels.

  • @orinanime I can't help being born in a later generation and seeing the Family Guy episode first. -_-

  • @Dougaloon

no one can help being born in a later generation.

but everyone can help what they watch/see.

    grow up.

    use your head.

you know. that empty lump 3 feet above your ass.

go out. experience life. watch/read/listen to the classics of entertainment, art, and literature.

being young is no excuse for being ignorant.

  • @orinanime You're right, I'm stupid and ignorant for watching a Family Guy episode. Makes perfect sense.

  • @orinanime

    How about you?

It's not anyone's fault what they see first or not

Instead of complaining about people making references to FG

There are plenty of other things out there that are worth complaining about.

But instead, you squander your time, complaining about Family Guy.

You might be older, but you're the one here who needs to grow up.

  • @numbuh745

you're right. taking 30 seconds out of my day to let someone know what I think is completely squandering my time.

How about someone that decides to comment on a conversation they weren't even part of...

I think you're the one that needs to grow up.
