Jodie is angry because she knows Ketchum will never let her leave the house. The house repairs itself and eliminates all traces of a haunting, waiting for the next family to terrorize. Jodie cries because she hoped that the Lutz family would be able to free her troubled spirit. Then at the end Ketchum drags her down so that she wouldn't interfere with his next prey

am I the only one who interprets the end this way?

@randomeddie I did not bother to go see it but this clip makes it look as bad as you say it is.

I imagine it has a lot of cheap tricks like quick cuts and sudden loud noises instead of quality and imaginative

directing.
