I used the Chroma Keyer option in Sony Vegas by colouring green parts of Guitar Hero I didn't want, putting a video track layer underneath meant that would show through. Kinda like layers in Photoshop.

Though i did not like the music, i still liked how Dante was going nuts in the background, the fact that you are calm when people insult you, i like it it would be fun if Dante was in Guitar Hero as a hidden character or somthing....

Dante as a hidden character would actually be a pretty awesome cameo for a game.

I'm not sure how it would work though, as of course I don't think he can 'really' play Guitar, so unless it's an unswappable Nevan guitar or if Nevan would be a buyable unlockable then maybe that could be worked in.

Interesting idea...but a shame it would probably never really happen, and thanks for the positive as well. Don't seem to get many of those.

This was uploaded before Guitar Hero 4 was released, if you had any common sense you'd realise that the whole 'Guitar Hero 4' bit comes from the fact I replaced the background and did some editing, it's a play on the series.

You're saving the timeline, you need to save as a movie, "Render as" is what you're after.

Save your movie as a compatible format, I use MPEG. Then, just upload it. :)

(Don't use AVI, the files can turn out to be like 30GB as I realised.)

It's a simple greenscreen effect. You record the footage you want behind, record yourself playing Guitar Hero, fill in the bits of Guitar Hero you don't want with green, and add the filter.

On the timeline, it's automatically split. Highlight the audio of the clup and press "U", it's a shortcut to ungroup sound from audio and then you can move it about as you please.
