i did read the rule book. the NCAA tweaked that rule, the brett hull rule. you can be in the crease so long as you don't interfere with the goalie

Watching this confirmed what I knew when I saw this at the game. I was right on the goal line and couldn't believe they blew this call.

I also like Brocklehurst's punch immediately after the goal. Fantastic.
Brocklehurst should start a sausage company after graduation, and market Broccoli flavored Bratwurst. He could name it after himself.

I can see how he actually didn't get in the goalie's way, or impede the goalie from making the save... but wow, you gotta disallow that.

You can see "how he actually didn't get in the goalie's way, or impede the goalie from making the save?" Obviously you go to the same optometrist as Randy Schmidt. If you could see, you'd see that the Denver player took out the goalie, before the puck was in the net.
