I have to admit I didn't really like prue until season 3 but I thought Alyssa Milano was a great actress for phoebe, she did the possessions and spells that went wrong acting so believeable. I didn't like Paige at first but she grew on me and I really liked her by season 6. As for the creativity for the show season 3 was my favourite. I didn't like season 5 that much only pipers sarcastic comments and there were a few rubbish episodes in the other later seasons but I do love charmed and I am ha

It's obvious enough that the comediennes that were interviewed for this did not watch Charmed. Honestly, Charmed was great with Prue, although I did like the dynamic of the fourth season when Paige arrived, it refreshed the story. After they vanquished the Source towards the end of Season 4, it got a bit too cheesy for my liking. Leprechauns, in Season 5? Cringe. It's a shame that Shannen and Alyssa couldn't just reconcile. Charmed would have been so different.

I asked Krista Vernoff (writer of some episodes of charmed) that, what went wrong after the season 4 and she said, they had to make the show of that way because they wanted to attract male audience. How? putting demons every week with leather jacket? Pathetic. At the end, it seemed more like nursery halliwell than anything else. For me the series was 1-4 seasons.

Charmed was amazing!Its still my favorite show to this day.But,like @cpp1 said,the writing sucked.Admit it:Season 3 was OK,Season 4 was dark and where it shouldve stopped and it shouldve ended at the season 4 finale with them killing the source and paige going out with that friend of hers & phoebe and piper having kids,Season 5 was retarded with paige quitting her job,they couldve done a lot with her job,Season 6 was pointless,Season 7 was boring, & Season 8 was unnecessary with a shitty ending.

Charmed was bad from season 3 onward. Writing got bad, and there were several inconsistencies and differences from the previous 2 seasons. Writers changed the pace and tone of the show from quick and fun, to more dramatic and to have a flowing story that was continued from episode to episode.Before, each episode was unique. I think that Doherty left because of Milano, but also because the show started to suffer creatively and she may have tried to intervene, but no one listened to her seriously.

@iLenzes Nah Prues power is the strongest. She can astral project and she was training her astral project to do telekenesis and her third power would be able to move through objects which is Phasing. She could have walk through doors and walls. She would have been awesome. Remember that episode with the demon that cannot be killed, her astral project jump inside the demons body and blow him up into pieces. Paige powers is somewhat like Leo's orbing and stuff which makes Leo's power worthless.

She was fired. TV networks keep 7 year contracts. Shannen couldn't have left on her own unless the TV network agreed to revoke the contract. Otherwise there would have been a big debate on who leaves Shannen or Alyssa and maybe possibly Alyssa would have been the one blasted through the wall. Why would Shannen leave Holly unless she was forced? Duh. Holly was still under contract and Shannen wanted to keep her pride.
