@berkleyfishing08 i bought a pint of charteuse shad 4" minnow and and last weekend me and my brothers went fishing for walleyes and white bass and they were all using live minnows while i was using a jig head and the gulp alive minnow and guess what........? i caught the first fish and it was a smallmouth bass. i'm not sure if it really works or that was just luck cause after that i haven't had anymore bites.

@j0hnxjxrambo I like MILANHOOP's response. He is spot on with why it attracts a wide range of species. Gulp and Gulp Alive disperse a scent trail, much like a wounded fish or just a tasty fish in general. It triggers predatory species to feed. For example, if the fish are normally a little finicky, fishing slow with Gulp and Gulp Alive! should get you more strikes.

Jigging this lure is the best way to present this bait because it will give it the most action in the water and it will appear as if its a bait-fish swimming through the water

@chevynatoor that is correct they work very well for bass and i have even had luck using them for trout as well.

@chevynatoor yeah basically they work for anything ive cought crappie bluegill and bass on these you could probably get perch with them too. but if you just want to catch bass go with the 4 inch youll catch bass and walleye probably.... i havent used the 4 inch yet. hope this helped

i just bought the 4 inch minnow smelt and i just got a new reel its the shimano sedona 2500FD with 8lb test live so i hope i catch some stuff since im going out for 3 days to a hotel near a river/lake

recharge means how u see those baits in the zip lock packs when u fish them for a while they lose the attracting scent these do too so with the buckets u dip them in the liquid and they regain their scent like useing a new luer all over agin

i used this stuff when out fishing for white and speckled trout last weekend and we caught 200 trout from 7am to 9am no joke. 2 people so we only kept 48 of them. i used the mango ripped glow shrimp. i never used fake bait before too. if you go red-fish fishing or saltwater trout fishing get some. if their out there they will take it fast.

i tell you no lie, this bait works VERY well! i have caught crapies, bass, and white perch on this thing. even some huge blue gills! maybe im not fishing it right, but even as an armature fisher woman it works for me. Im, going fishing today and getting a bucket of it before i hit the water.
