Never forget the Dreamcast and the Gamecube eras. Sonic Adventure, Sonic Adventure 2 and Sonic Heroes were the best Sonic games in my opinion.

Now with Generations, I can remember those levels and games as well. =)

First song I ever heard in a Sonic game (AKA: This was my first Sonic game). Good time, but unlike other fans, I don't hate the Hedgehog for using some new ideas in the games. SEGA's always put an innovative spin on their games, even if they sound weird at first (Werehog and sword sound weird, but if you give them a chance, it gets very fun by the end of it).

But I think they should bring the core gameplay back. It was simply the most fun. Make the rest optional, and not interfere with whats important.

I think it would be good to have the gimmicks as optional powers (imagine Sonic in SA1-2 form being able to transform into the Werehog or use Caliburn as extra abilities), but having this only would get rather repetitive. Not bad, but repetitive. This game wasn't because each character had something new to do. Tails was racing, Knuckles was Emerald finding, Amy would need to be qucik to stay wy from the robot. Gamma would fight in TPS style and Big... would fish, lol.

Personally I believe that while SEGA's games aren't as good as they used to be, their music has always been top-notched quality. Even though it was mediocre, NiGHTs: Journey of Dreams had some ace music. Sonic Unleashed I liked less because of the olympic style music, but there were still some great tunes.

It's kinda weird. Sonic music these days tries to be all HARDCORE, but the vast majority of their best music was just when they cut loose and let happy music come out. Even Unleashed benefited from using the metal sparingly.

Sonicteam needs more Prozac IMO :)

Dude, if they did that... Wow.That'd be amazing. Fix whatever problems there were which IMO weren't many, mostly tiny camera issues.
