Maybe there's too many urchins because there aren't enough otters to keep their populations in check. I wonder where all the otters went? Surely it couldn't have anything to do with people??....
@southhampton91 well bud if you new anything about BC, you would know that there are far to many sea urchins and they are destroying our kelp beads....sooo next time dont immediately assume that just because someone is fishing, that it bad for the environment

We do the same urchin harvest down here in Santa Barbara, California, only on hookah gear. Otherwise the gear, bags, unload, etc. is identical.

I use knives to get the urchins out of holes, not pick them up. Anyway, great vid!
