hi fuz..i would like to know how would you compare the kiehls midnight recovery to estee launder's advanced night repair ? i just bought the midnight recovery and loving it. However, as i often need to work till late in the night and would really want something which is powerful enough to fight the fatigue and to slow down the ageing. thanks!!

@st3phanie2002 they are very different functionality, so you could use both, ANR first then Kiehl's! ANR I feel is more hydrating anti-oxidation, and Kiehl's is more moisturize and soothe and soften. :]

I loved your review! I never knew keil's product were that smoothing, light and what not. Do you think these are better than the lancome genefique or other expensive brands? If haven't already, I think u should try the nivea lip balm, the one in light blue tube is great!!

I'm curious if you've ever tried a prescription retinoid cream (like Tazorac, Renova, Retin-A...) Ever since I started using Atralin (an Rx tretinoin cream), it has eliminated the need for anything else on my face in the evenings. It literally transforms your complexion, it's amazing. Only downside is that you do have to go through about 3 wks of peeling and dryness/general discomfort. But the results are honestly more than worth it. It makes your skin feel and look simply incredible.

@CornPoppy010 Yes, I don't think the efficacy is worth the price tag.. not extremely effective. Kiehl's is much better

I disagree with your statement that eye creams dont reduce fine lines...at 48yrs old I have been a skincare junkie since I was 17. Although I do not have any wrinkles on my face area, I am constantly trying to fight fine lines around my eye since I was age 35 and I have been successful! It is a constant search- I have 2 lines around my eye and when they creep up, I just change my eye care line to find something that works. As a scientist so I am up on recent advances but I will never do botox!

The Neutragena " Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle Anti-Blemish Cream" is a great substitute if not better, than the Kiehls anti blemish cream. It doesn't just treat and helps prevent blemishes with 2% salicilic acid but, it also contains retinol to help with wrinkles. Ans at $13.99 is a great value for what it does! you should definitely try it.

I noticed you didn't mention any exfoliating products (physical & chemical ie. acids). I know you use the Clarisonic though, but maybe incorporating Retinol would be beneficial as well.

@eiwonob fatty acids are not actually the acids you are thinking about they are basically oils and fats they are called acids because of the Carbon Oxygen Oxygen Hydrogen group of molecules at the end which a lot of acids share.

@eiwonob I don't think you need such stuff at 21, just achieve good, perfect hydration for your skin, then add in some anti-oxidant products at your age, and you will be on your way to good anti-aging!

i highly recommend Chanel's hydramax lip care! I use both la mer lip balm and chanel on top because it's so HYDRATING and smooth almost liquid-gel like. Also, shiseido water lip balms are GREAT for day time. so cheap at asian drug store

Anyways, there was a product on tv a few years ago that was suspose to firm ones face. It was a hand held electrical device that you press against the face and it causes the face muscles to twitch. A forced workout for the face. Not sure if it workded. It was kinda of a interesting product. It probably had bizzare side effects that showed up years later.

I've tried several products from Jurlique. The only thing I would recommend is soothing herbal recovery gel. and I think the most products are over-priced inJurlique. by the way I bought midnight recovery concentrate from Kiehl after I see your skin care vid.
