at least moderate, wont respond if you brush it. It's not particularly loud orclear through the speakers, which is good because I can't imagine why anyone would want to listen to music that way (unless of course, to piss off people on the bus with his shit selection of music). The music player is good through, through earphones.

8. 5800 has a 3.2'' screen, 5530 has 2.9'' 9.the touch screen works a lot better on 5530(i was surprised how good it works. U can actually call it a touch screen and not a punch - screen) 10. it is available in 5 different colours whereas 5800 is available in 2. 11. 5530 fits better in u'r had and pocket due to its size

let's talk about pros and cons for the 2 phones: 1. the quality of 5530 is much better than 5800(which feals like 3 pieces of plastic glued together) 2.the 5800 has gps which is so poor with satelite reception(it does'nt work at all inside and it takes about 3min to connect if outside) 3.battery life for 5800 is double than 5530(this is the only real pro for 5800) 4. 5800 has 3g 5. 5530 has kinematic scroll 6.the menu for 5530 is much more practical 7. 5800 camera has 2 led where 5530 has 1 led

if u don't mind using the internet at edge speed when not beeing connected to wifi, if gps is something that does not interest u and if u care about size looks(for me this are the main 2 factors), then choose the 5530. However if u use 3g internet, want double the battery life, use gps and size is not an issue, go for the 5800

I don't know about the video recording but the photo capture is better than 5800 in colours only not definition :) search for camera comparison to see yourself

i own a 5800 and i am absolutely happy with it. But the fact that this fone has got so much more with less cost really sucks. I never use 3g or gps and 5530 is just perfect for me. Hope guys at nokia are kind enough to introduce kinetic scrolling and 5530 type homescreen in the next firmware v30 for 5800. Nokia say they are testing the same :D
