broken ass engines?? yeah funny story ive got a mtd tractor with a tecumseh that runs fine and a 16 or 17 year old jiffy thats got a tecumseh in it and it sill runs fine
Teccy carbs tend to overflow the oil with gasoline, if youre not careful. I have a few teccy motors ( couple are older)- they have a tendency to belch oil out the brether assy. I do have a 16HP teccy with oil pressure( needs a starter motor) that i want to use as a setup motor on a project im going to build soon.
i don't know why are some people complaining about tecumseh's carburators... carburator is so primitive device and you can make it by your own if you aren't satisfied with the one on it. i agree with you... if you treat it well, it will run!
@hansy555 i agree with both of you i had an 18 horse tecumseh with dual carbs on my rider, it was a hydro tranny and was slow as fuck but it ran so nice and gave me so much torque till the tranny locked up on me, the engine is still runnin strong on another craftsman down the road
what kind of toaster did you use to make the vid
