  • Easy enough.. but what we REALLY want to know is what happens after you replace the flapper and the flapper instantly closes right after the toilet is flushed? What does the consumer need to do in order to keep the flapper OPEN for enough time to let the toilet properly flush before closing again. :)

  • @likeawhispr Sounds like you need a flapper that will be buoyant longer during the flush. Try a couple different models and make sure the air pocket on the flapper is not full of water.

    It could be that you need to shorten the chain. If the chain is too long the flapper valve will not get pulled up enough to stay open.
