i know a better way that gets u commendations easily:

1. start the mission "ONI: Swordbase", any difficulty, it doesn't matter

2. run past the enemies

3. grab the target locater

4. move to the gate and stay there until u have reached a checkpoint

5. locate a good spot to take out as many enemies as possible

6. after the bombs stop dropping, revert to last checkpoint and do it all again

if u do it right u can get plenty of killionaires. i have Splash Damage Onyx maxed because of it :)

the higher the rank of ur commendations, the less cR u can farm. no commendation=around 20-15cR, bronze=10-15cR, silver 0-10cR, gold+onyx=0cR. however, if u can complete a silver commendation, u would get 1000cR compare  to completing a bronze which is 500cR. complete a gold commendation and its 4000cR. onyx, 8000cR. i know my #s rn't accurate but this is just to show tat the higher ur commendation, the less u can farm but more if u complete them. thumbs up so ppl can stop asking!

It's to prevent rage quitting. Bungie does that in order to stop people from quitting in the middle of games for stupid reasons. You are banned for 10 minutes so wait your 10 minutes and finish games you play. Of course, you won't be able to finish all games cause maybe something came up while you are playing so you have to stop but more than likely, that doesn't happen too often.
