  • 4 persons must be detained for interrogation

  • Does anybody have the documentary footage of the making of Flowers in the Dirt? If so, please upload

  • @mrJimCharles I believe Imay have just found at least part of the documentary you seek on an old vhs tape of mine. I will convert it to dvd in a few days and upload soon if no on else has it, probably in 15 minute clips but i may separate the My brave face part on it's own. Long Live Sir Paul!!!

  • @TheRockDon416 I would really appreciate it, a college roommate bought that one day and we watched it many times together, but I haven't seen it in years, I didn't copy it.

  • @mrJimCharles I do have the whole documentary that I taped years ago but i never watched til now . I converted about half but that filled the DVD I was working on. I uploaded parts 1-4 but it may be a little while before i get parts 5 thru 13 on (tried to cut it up by songs) I hope you enjoy what I have so far ... share if you care....

  • Faul showing off how he got away with the scam of the century

  • Boo-Elvis Costello is shit. He has no talent and has no reason to have a show where he bouchers other peoples' songs. Sir Paul 4ever!

  • u r rich to be able to buy sir paul mccartneys memorabilia mate...

  • Love Paul's little grin at the end.

  • Tremendous Paul song - still sounds great - crank it up !

  • It seems to me that this song sounds a lot more like Elvis Costello than Paul. Especially the lyrics of course, but also the melodies. Kinda sounds like Paul only contributed the bass line.

But I might be wrong. :-)

  • Not 100% agree, but 80%. Voices arranges are Lennon-McCartney style, BUT you still can say that Elvis in influenced by Beatles, of course! :D

  • I think the bridge and chorus is very Paul. But then again, I don't know Elvis Costello that much so I can't say for sure. But this song grooves like any great Beatles tune!

  • The part that goes "ever since you went away..." is very Elvis Costello, but the "Now that I'm alone again..." part might be more Paul I guess.

  • both "my brave face" and "this one" remind me of early Beatles songs, I even imagine them sounding like "thank you girl" and "I'll get you", haha.

it could have been a great 1963 Beatles single "my brave face"/"this one" :)

  • Lyrics definitely sound more like Costello.

  • The bridge in this song is an awesome melody!

  • I love Paul's shag haircut.

  • I wish there were another version of this video without that stupid Japanese bloke.

Funny the first time, but 20 years on it grates.

  • The guy in the beginning of this video looks like the manager of the Go-Gos, whose song was stolen by Paul. Paul should give half his money to Belinda Carlisle.

  • pauls guitarrist looks like chandler bing from friends

  • Obsessed Japanese collector right near the top of the Nikkei bubble.

  • Every time I'm making a CD comp for a mate, this is always the first song that goes on it. Superb lyrics, wonderfully crafted music - that 'now that I'm alone again' chorus just rules! Paul and Elvis forever!

  • Check out my Beatles Motorcycle. Type in: Beatles Motorcycle

  • I love the part starting at 1:13 with 'ever since you went away...'

  • i agree that bridge is awesome

  • The Wings suck, Paul McCartney with John, George and Ringo.

  • you suck too

  • The Wings is Paul McCartney, the rest sucks, and you not.

  • Great Go-Go's version!

  • elvis costello wrote this song.the same year,1989,mccartney wrote "veronica" which was recorded by costello.the go gos have nothing to do with my brave face.

  • This song always gives me strength when I am down. As Paul as expressed through his trials and dramas, put on that BRAVE FACE and face the world. As always, Paul inspires me so much, I can't imagine life without him and the other Beatles. Growing up, my brothers and I had 4 adopted uncles, Uncles Paul, John, George and Ringo. Long live the Beatles!

  • chvr song!!

  • What go gos ????? . Imagine the 3 part harmony with John and Geroge. its a Beatle song.

  • Who is Linda?

  • His wife he married in... 1969 I believe (1970 the latest), who died in 1998, and they never EVER thought of having divorce. You can call her the love of his life, to sum up... not the kind of person you divorce from, once you "caught" her...

  • So what Go Go's song did he rip this off from ??

  • forgot about this song.Really good,He stole this from the Go-Gos?

  • Paul stole these lyrics from the GoGo's. Sadly, he and Belinda Carlyle have not spoken in over 30 years because of this.

  • Who cares, amazing song, come together also was stolen from chuck berry...but i prefer lennons even stolen sounds perfect. beatleeeeeesss!!!

  • I care...Belinda cares...the GoGo's all care. Paul should give half his money to the GoGo's.

  • Paul has stated that most of his lyrics and music come more from imagination than personal experiences, so there you go.

  • thanku for posting THIS, the dvd rocks you guys are great for putting this on here, thanx so much, LONG LIVE MACCA LOVE IT! THANX AGAIN! XXXXXXXXXX

  • What are you talking about?

Paul was still married to Linda when this tune came out.

He didn't write these lyrics anyway.

Another genius named Elvis Costello did ;)

    Get it together, baby!

  • Clearly, this song is about putting on a strong front during what he knew would be his divorce. He prepared himself for this. We have much to learn about this musical genius and his ability to predict the future...

  • this was my first CD! it still ROCKS

  • Man its just about Missing your GIRL , CHICK TOFU......

  • I have always felt that "Flowers in the Dirt" was his last GREAT album. This song is pure class, gotta love the bridge.

  • This song came out in 1989, he was still happily married to Linda at the time. I think it's about dealing with his past as a Beatle and looking forward to the future.

  • This song is about the brave front Paul put on during his recent divorce.

  • Take the ad off so I can hear what the man is saying. How rude.

  • Paul is still The Walrus"Nod Your Head"(from his latest LP)has got bit of"I'm The Walrus","Helter Skelter"and"Live And Let Die"and it makes me go berserk!Great to see ConcordRecords have posted it on YouTube as a music video(#3)featuring McCartney and RINGO STARR.The LP"Memory Almost Full"is friggin great and reminds me of the magic of the Sgt.Pepper and Abbey Road LP's. Indeed the tracks are so Sgt.Pepper-ish and Abbey Road-ish.What a blast from the past and with a bit of the Wings magic.

  • Out of all the songs Paul McCartney has sang (as a solo artist & WINGS), this is my all-time favorite.

  • "I'VE BEEN HITTING THE TOWN AND IT DIDN'T HIT BACK"

ANYONE ELSE THINK THIS IS AN AMAZING LINE? , i JUST NOTICE IT LOADS DON'T KNOW WHY.

  • I've heard about this fellow from Japan who collects everything he can on Paul and Wings, ect. What's the history here?....does he have a website, ect.??..thanks in advance

  • The Japanese guys actually exists?

  • what I think is that the japenese want to get their instruments in japan to copy it.

  • yeap it was great when it cam out!!!

  • Cool song

  • A mullet AND Linda McCartney. At least he did not put that Heather Mills MONSTER in any music.

  • You're totally right.

  • A truly great song.
