how can you take off the rose form the card

You can cut around the rose when it is all complete. Try not to cut the ribbon or thread.

Thanks so much for sharing this---I'd see others on doing the roses--but this method (with the cardstock) produces a very beautiful shape -especially if you don't want a high rose...simple and to the point and very well done!

Thanks! I just used a pair of scissors and cut really close to the "star". I tried really hard not to cut the holes. It is not a perfect circle but no one could tell.
