  • @bsgs98 Can you tell me where the piano rolls are online, and how you play them on Miditzer? This is in reference to your comment about 7 months ago...I guess you can click back on comment, thanks.

  • @paulj0557 There has been an effort to preserve old piano rolls by optically scanning them and then using software to convert these rolls to a midi file. A web site dedicated to this project is trachtman(dot)org. Their data base includes 7000 scanned rolls, 2000 of them are available as downloadable midi files. Because of US copyright restrictions, the only ones available are pre-1923. These files are recognized by Miditzer but play on only the upper manual.

  • What is it about this era that just thrills Me to no end? I can`t get enough of this AWESOME music, style, cars. just everything 20s & early30s. I LOVE THIS RECORD!

  • People of the world, listen to that music and hug a neighbor, but just don't go to jail for it. And save the whales, but save the 'whale of an organ' too. Attend your local theater where a theater organ is present and then come home and upload a free theater organ- the Miditzer, or the Hauptwerk. The Paramount 310 is a freebie for the Hauptwerk platform & if you love it then you can get the 320 which is a notch up on features.

BUILD YOUR A MIDI THEATER ORGAN, many sites dedicated to the cause ;)

  • @paulj0557 Great idea! I don't have a keyboard but I found I can play piano roll midi files on the Miditzer. There are loads of midi files on the net!
