  • Really well presented. Now we have to try to right a wrong. The scope of the depth of the positive contribution of the black community then & now remains steadfast. May we never hide behind the mask of lies that the southern states made all of us live. If you're black my hats off to you for your wonderful struggle in building the greatest nation on earth. We've got to pull together & marginalize all racist cults in america who make healing impossible. NOI;KKK;MORMONS, Etc. Lets fight again

  • yep that's what I am trying to tell my natives and latinos hey we know the white man hurt you but if you forgive them they will give you half of the world

  • Takes some balls to post this!

  • @hiawatha444 Washington was a Christian, hiawatha....

    ...a very religious, praying man.

  • Supremicist have water town history in order to maintain a systemic since of power..be it political, financial.

  • How in the world will they say the left does not want to include black history into the school system..twisted

  • They don't the whole truth just pick and choose the bad stuff. To maintain victim status. Like the slave owners were demarcates. Republican freed the slaves. Got them the right to vote. Etc.

  • THIS IS WHY YOU DONT OTHER PEOPLE CONTROL YOUR HISTORY ESPECIAL YOUR ENSLAVER OUR THEIR KIDS KIDS KIDS MINSTER FARRAKHAN WAS RIGHT WHITE FOLKS THEY NATURE IS WICKED VIOLENT BLACK MAN ALWAYS BEEN BEFORE AMERICA WAS CALLED THAT READ ABOUT JOHN HANSON BLACK PRESIDENT OF THIS LAND BEFORE GEORGE WASHINGTON WE R THE ABORIGINES OF THE WORLD EVEN EUROPE READ J.A ROGERS SEX AND RACE VOL I-3

  • this series is basically saying hey black poeple we are not so bad stop complaining to on us

  • A now for the rest story. Wallbuilders , David Buraton No way believe this guy - only half the story.

Look him up and research him

  • A now for the rest story. Wallbuilders , David Buraton No way believe this guy - only half the story.

  • so are our you not saying these African Americans didn't contribute to the so called founding fathers!?

  • How disingenuous can you be? To parade these people around as supposed testaments to why group rights and restorative justice measures shouldn't be used is absolutely ludicrous, especially when you look at the fact that ALL of the men in the picture of politicians from the 1860s were elected because of RECONSTRUCTION. You know, that thing when the rights of former Confederates were rolled back to allow Blacks to participate in the political system. Let's be real about our history here.

  • The reason this is not taught has nothing to do with victimhood. Whites wanted to justify jim crow and slavery. And to justify those sins they couldn't let black be seen as having input in anything historically significant

  • Glen Beck: "Hey Guys.....Did you know America wasn't that racist? Yeah you guys weren't victims. We all collectively let you darkies do important things while "some" us acted like assholes." I'm sorry Beck would have been one of those racist guys in the past to fit into the popular opinion of America. I'm sorry they are wrong, the winners rewrite history. Glenn Beck would have been one of many Americans that would have thought people like John Brown was a terrorist.

  • Eisenhower also put forth a civil rights act when he was President. It failed & the one that fought it was Johnson. Then when Johnson later became President he signed a bill & took credit for what he previously fought against.

  • You can't disprove fairy tales alone but you can sure prove the truth that, inevitably, overwrite fairy tales in parallel.

  • Glenn Beck can suck my peck. There were always Blacks who supported white supremacy. Just like most Black cops today. Secondly, black folks didn't write those history books. Third, we can forget slavery for all intents and purposes. America should pay reparations just based on what went down since 1920.

  • finally someones shitting on wilson he was a fuckin goon, Teddy Roosevelt was the last of the greats

  • Oh you guys.. thank you for the laughs/entertainment =]

  • Black Man is God

  • @laryon GOD IS GOD

  • @laryon God is the Father of ALL of us. Race is inconsequential.

  • @laryon black man is a magical negro, but no GOD iS GOD

  • @sharonanony She is the Goddess Mother of all Civilization's.

  • @laryon you dumb nigger...you're really showing me your monkey mindset mentality right now..

  • It's hard for me to figure out why this information has been left out of the textbooks that educate our children. Was it lack of real historical knowledge? Was it racial? Who was in charge at the time when these facts started to be left out? Obviously since the Civil War was won by the Union controlled by the Republicans shouldn't be held accountable. When did the Southern Democrats (such as Governor Wallace) gain such influence? How did this happen? I'm waiting to hear Becks answer.

  • @gracedorsey It happened under President Woodrow Wilson. This stuff was in our history books until the Wilson Presidency. Wilson was a racist. Wilson was a major racists and that's why liberals love him. Liberals of today are like Wilson, they think Blacks are inferior and need handouts. Conservatives think Blacks are equal and can pull themselves up by their bootstraps just like Whites.

  • 6:52 - Don't waste your time on Barton's book. A much better book is "Capitol Men: The Epic Story of Reconstruction Through the Lives of the First Black Congressmen" by Philip Dray.

  • Wow, good question Glenn why didn't you know about this. It's great that you had the show. I do respect that, but most African's we taught in their homes about these ppl. I don't think the new generation of European Americans are racist, but are still miseducated about our American history and African history. So, ppl not meaning it, still have racist views. We need in our history books, AA History told from our eyes and not a European's

  • This will help put United States back in the hands of the people once again. We are a republic not a democracy. We have a constitution. We are not socialists.

  • wow

  • Who the Fuck hasn't heard of Benjamin Banneker? These people only reveal their own ignorance.

And it makes it seem as though if you object to this being taught to children, you're against black history. It's not like you're trying to stop them from using minor historical characters to whitewash slavery and systematic violation of black human rights in this country.

And who are these fucking uncle toms that Fox Dug up. Do they not realize theyre enabling this vile scene?

  • @TMAoD vile scene really more like historical fact that very few people know because it was erased from history most of what beck said in this show was taught until the progressive movment in the turn of the century progressives erased it so they could make themselves more powerful

  • @mrfuzzyboy100,

Maybe they are historical facts, but if they are, they are extremely minor historical facts. That's why we don't know them.

Let me ask you lot a question: if progressives are those trying to cleanse history of prominent black characters and conservatives are the good guys recovering heroic, patriotic black characters, how do you explain Black History month and Martin Luther King Day, both things that were opposed by conservatives and wouldnt exist if not for progressives?

  • @TMAoD During 'Black History Month,' we don't hear about the black people who helped row George Washington across the Delaware. We don't hear about the black man who rode with Paul Revere. And we didn't learn about Benjamin Banneker.

WHY DON'T WE TEACH OUR STUDENTS ABOUT THESE INDIVIDUALS?

  • @MooseOfReason

Black people in this country have done far more impressive things than help George Washington row a fucking boat! Can you people hear yourselves? "Oh, I never heard about that black guy who was on the boat Washington crossed to Princeton in. Lets Make a fucking conspiracy theory out of this!"

Riddle me this: what's the historical record like on these guys? In other words, do you know if there is sufficient accessible data on these guys for research on them to even be possible?

  • @@MooseOfReason

Or maybe the absence of data available on them is just another product of the progressive conspiracy?

Let's use reason here, Moose. Are there any other plausible reasons why we haven't heard of them, i.e., that they are VERY minor figures and since they are minor, no one thought to save their journals, their letters, their speeches, etc.. And if my theory is not plausible, could you please tell me why I'm wrong and not just call me a stupid liberal.

  • @TMAoD Entire textbooks in the 1800s were devoted to African American founders. African Americans had many positions in the government long before 1900. The purging from history can be traced to times when Leftists gained influence in the 1800s and 1900s, particularly with Progressive "heroes" like Woodrow Wilson (big time racist who SEGREGATED the military - that's right, it was integrated before then).

  • @canofsand

I guess I could ask you about this book, who its author was, what were its major claims (did you notice they didn't tell you anything like that in the video?), but why bother. You'd just keep repeating the same dumb ass remarks about leftist conspiracies. You clearly don't know what a leftist is, you don't know what a founding father is, and you obviously feel enlightened by patent nonsense from a gaping asshole.

  • @TMAoD

This is why there is no hope for America

  • My impression of TMAoD attending geography class (with some context). //

Teacher: And as we can see from page 49 and these maps, Australia is both a nation and a continent. //

TMAoD's classmate: See? I told you Australia is a continent. //

TMAoD, talking to a friend: Yeah right. According to you? [insert vulgar epithets] //

That's you right here in the comments to this video. Experts on history right there, citing documents and textbooks... and you ask for references. You've blinded yourself.

  • @TMAoD Aren't leftists always saying how the founders were a bunch of white men?

I think this is important, and should be in the history books.

  • @MooseOfReason

The political leadership in this country has always been overwhelmingly white and male. This is not up for argument. To seize on any black man who rowed a boat for Washington or fired a rifle at a famous battle only serves to prove the point. Show me the blacks who were involved in high levels of decision making. Show me the women who had a say in these matters.

I guess next you're going to tell me about Molly Pitcher.... I suppose she should be in the history books too.

  • Comment removed

  • @TMAoD Dr. King wanted to bring us together. I doubt that he would have approved of Black History Month. "That all men are created equal." "I have a dream." It isn't black history. It is American history. It doesn't belong solely to blacks but to all people, be they black, or white, or whatever. All history should be taught together. We don't need a "Suppressed Irish worker month," a "American Indian Month," "Japanese American Month," or a "Hispanic American Month." We are one Nation.

  • @Shadeofgrey1 your right, because japansese, or hispanic, or chinese is not even in the constitution. Its on BLACK , RED , AND WHITE PEOPLE IN THE CONSTITUTION. AND NOT RECENT ELLIS ISLAND WHITE PEOPLE. BUT THE WRITERS, QUAKERS, AND EARLY SETTLERS. ALL ELSE IS PROGRANDIZED AS PRETENDED CONSTITUTIONALITY

  • There is a wealth of information on this show, and it was completely RUSHED. I hope they revisit this topic and go over some of the highlights. The 2 guys on the panel are awesome!

  • Eat that Crackers!!

  • @imaplayjason Racist!

  • @58fenix Black people cant be racist...oyxymoronic

  • @imaplayjason Anyone can be racist.

  • @TedVoron - RACE + POWER = RACISM. People of all colors can be racist, but it depends on where you are talking about. Without the power structure, it's just prejudice and bigotry at best. It can be extreme, yes, but it's not racism unless your group (that is the majority where you live) can wield the power and reap the societal and/or institutional rewards of being of the majority group.

  • @athenalong According to the dictionary:

    rac·ism [rey-siz-uhm] –noun

    1.

a belief or doctrine that inherent differences among the various human races determine cultural or individual achievement, usually involving the idea that one's own race is superior and has the right to rule others.

    2.

a policy, system of government, etc., based upon or fostering such a doctrine; discrimination.

    3.

hatred or intolerance of another race or other races.

  • @TedVoron - I was speaking specifically about the United States, where I was born, raised, and have lived all my life. Black people do not have any power to make any kind of substantial, binding, institutional change.

But, I will say that I thank you for reminding me that I have been meaning to stop using the word RACISM/RACIST, and start using the proper terms, SUPREMACY/SUPREMACIST.

  • @athenalong black people or the black people you hate

  • @TheMiamifuentes what?

  • @TheMiamifuentes sorry but Black man Is God meaning we are God's People his children we are little Gods its in the bible.don't hate educate self

  • @athenalong BALONEY. Racism is racism with or without power. All you need to have in order to qualify as a racist is to be fixated on the mythological construct that is "race." The attempt to add the condition of "power" to the mix is nothing short of an attempt to excuse the racism of anyone who is not "white" which is nothing short of ridiculous.

  • @mindyobeeznis - Ok, whatever floats your boat. But this is why I said that I have made a conscious decision to not use those terms anymore, and call it what it is. SUPREMACIST/SUPREMACY.

  • @athenalong - you're welcome to use what ever terms you like - changing terms does not change realities. Race is still an artificial and false construct and just as prevalent if not more so in minority communities as it is amongst the dominant "race."

  • Comment removed

  • @athenalong

That is a crock of shit. PERIOD. RACISM is discrimination based solely on skin color. Quit trying to change definitions. George Orwell warned us about people such as you in his book 1984. Newspeak was Big Brother's method of controlling people by changing the language. That is what you lefties are trying to do with your bastardization of our language.

  • @imaplayjason Are you serious! You cant be that stupid.

  • @58fenix So you calling Malcom X stupid?

  • @imaplayjason If he said that yeah.Just because your

black does'nt mean you cant be races.Malcom x

was a big help to rasicm, but if he did say that then

    I disagree.

  • @58fenix He said " Asking the black man why do you hate white people is like asking the sheep why he hates the wolf" so go ahead and disagree but you would be wrong buddy.

  • @imaplayjason So you are telling me that a black

man cant be racist, even if he called someone a

racial slur.Man there are so many racist people

in this world unlike yourself. The sad part is you

    dont even know your racist!

  • @58fenix Dude you starting to piss me off...i dont hate white people im not racist i just dont trust them because of there evil treatment of African americans in this country. and one racial slur from me is nothing compared to 500 years of oppression.

  • You don't have to hate race to be a racest. Generalization makes you a racist. It seems you are angry at 1600s whites. Isn't it great that we are in 2000s. You don't have to worry about those oppressors anymore. We can live in the present and quite dwelling in the past. How can we make our future better if we live in the past? Im white and I don't think the color of any man's skin lables them as evil or good. Never judge a man by the color of his skin but judge him by his character. MLK Jr.

  • @58fenix Malcolm X supposedly was better in the last bit of his life, but the things he's really known for were all done during his years as a hateful bigoted racist. MLK Jr and Malcolm X are on totally different planes of thought, and MX's life and doings are NOT to be remembered fondly by anyone who cares about the truth and "post-racial" society.

  • @imaplayjason Look up the definition of racism. Then you'll realize how wrong you are.

  • @MooseOfReason Nah...Malcom X allready showed how the dictionary has racially biased definitions so fuck the dictionary.

  • @voronOsphere that's retarded

  • @imaplayjason what an asinine statement.

  • @imaplayjason

    B.S.

  • Thanks for posting this show, I hope to network it with others, marked it as my favorite.

  • This is pathetic. Beck and his allies are currently heading an attack on the place where you're most likely to learn about people like Frederick Douglass - Ethnic Studies Departments. And here they pretend like they want nothing more than people to learn about Black history.

  • The slave farmland was in the South; so the Northern Democrats had solidarity with their fellow Democrats in the South.

The Federal records show that the Democratic PARTY itself (North & South, East and West,) officially stood for slavery, secession and segregation. The Democrat Feds (in Washington) fought hard, for hundreds of years to oppress black people.

  • A Party Platform is the official and legal position of a party on a particular issue. Read the Party's platforms and ask yourself "why" black people are screwed, and just "who" screwed them.

  • THE DEMOCRATS PLATFORM

    1840, 1844, 1848

All efforts by abolitionists . . . to interfere with questions of slavery . . . are calculated to lead to the most alarming and dangerous consequences and . . . have an inevitable tendency to diminish the happiness of the people and endanger the stability and permanency of the union.

  • THE REPUBLICANS PLATFORM

    1840, 1844, 1848

    [Republican Party not yet formed.]

  • Abolitionists turn up the heat to free the slaves. Here is the Democratic Party's response:

    THE DEMOCRATS PLATFORM

    1852

The Democratic Party will resist all attempts at renewing in Congress or out of it the agitation of the slavery question [i.e., will oppose all efforts to abolish slavery].

  • THE REPUBLICANS PLATFORM

    1852

[Republican Party not yet formed. At this point they are the abolitionists preparing the party]

  • THE DEMOCRATS PLATFORM

    1856

The Democratic Party . . . will abide by and adhere to a faithful execution of the acts . . . settled by the Congress of 1850: the act for reclaiming fugitives from service or labor. . . . [We support] NON-interference by Congress with slavery in state and territory, or in the District of Columbia [i.e., we oppose all congressional attempts to abolish slavery in any area of the nation].

  • NOTICE that these are NOT "Southern" Democrats pushing to have slaves. These are DEMOCRATS. These are the OFFICIAL platforms (stance) of The Democratic PARTY (itself, as a whole) in regard to slavery. These are Federal platforms.

    Let's read on....

  • THE REPUBLICANS PLATFORM

    (1st Republican platform!)

    1856

As our Republican fathers, when they had abolished slavery in all our national territory, ordained that no person shall be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law it becomes our duty to maintain this provision of the Constitution against all attempts to violate it for the purpose of establishing slavery in the territories of the United States... (see continuation)

  • 1st REPUBLICAN PLATFORM 1856 (Continued from right where I left off):

... [W]e deny the authority of Congress, of a territorial legislation, [or] of any individual or association of individuals, to give legal existence to slavery in any territory of the United States.

NOTICE: The Republicans came out of the gate punching! Their FIRST order of business was to END slavery against FIERCE Democratic opposition!

  • At this point, the Republican party poses a threat to the racist Democratic Party! What happens next? The Democrats run like hell to the Supreme Court to get an EVIL verdict, so they could keep screwing black people! Check out what the Democrats say in their next DEMOCRAT PLATFORM...it's the SAME tactics they are still using today for Abortion Rights!

  • THE DEMOCRATS PLATFORM

    1860

The Democrat Party will abide by the decision of the Supreme Court of the United States upon these questions of constitutional law. . . . [T]he enactments of the state legislatures to defeat the faithful execution of the Fugitive Slave Law are hostile in character, subversive of the Constitution, and revolutionary in their effect.

  • Democrats got the COURT to rule an evil verdict in their favor. Now check out how the Republicans respond in their Party Platform.

    THE REPUBLICANS PLATFORM

    1860

[W]e brand the recent reopening of the African slave trade under the cover of our national flag, aided by perversions of judicial power as a crime against humanity and a burning shame to our country and age; and we call upon Congress to take prompt and efficient measures for the total and final suppression of that execrable traffic.

  • So, the Republicans put some hurt on the stubborn racist Democrats.

    Here's how they responded:

    THE DEMOCRATS PLATFORM

    1864

The direct interference of the military authorities of the United States in the recent elections held in Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, and Delaware was a shameful violation of the Constitution; and a repetition of such acts in the approaching election will be held as revolutionary, and resisted with all the means and power under our control.

  • THE REPUBLICANS PLATFORM

    1864

As slavery was the cause and now constitutes the strength of [the Civil War] and as [slavery] must be always and everywhere hostile to the principles of republican government, justice and the national safety demand its utter and complete [elimination] from the soil of the Republic; and while we uphold and maintain the acts and proclamations by which the government in its own defense

has aimed a deathblow at this gigantic evil... (see continuation)

  • THE REPUBLICANS PLATFORM

1864 (Continued where we left off)

...we are in favor, furthermore, of such an amendment to the Constitution as shall terminate and forever prohibit the existence of slavery within the limits of the jurisdiction of the United States.

  • Okay, this really pisses off the Democrats and so their racist demons show themselves stronger!

    THE DEMOCRATS PLATFORM

    1868

The Democratic party . . . demand[s] . . . the abolition of the Freedmens Bureau and all political instrumentalities designed to secure Negro supremacy. . . . Instead of restoring the Union, it [the Republican Party] has so far as in its power dissolved it, and subjected ten states, in time of profound peace, to military despotism and Negro supremacy.

  • THE REPUBLICANS PLATFORM

    1868

This Convention declares its sympathy with all the oppressed people which are struggling for their rights.

  • Okay, you get the picture. These civil rights platforms continued on this way on for 100 years, well into the 1960s, when finally, the Democrats caved and Johnson signed a bill that would lift purely-Democrat-created and maintained segregation in the South.

At that point, black people left the Republican the party and became Democrats.

Blacks are still contained & controlled by the same party who oppressed their fathers, only not through violence but sticks & carrots at election time.

  • Truth is, talk is cheap. Some Democrats have said that the racist Democrats "found Jesus" and changed their ways, and ran like hell to join the Republican party, to join forces with the Republican Party of Martin Luther King and the Christian Right. But if that were true, why did the racist politicians all stay in the Democrat party? Johnson answered WHY when he signed the bill that lifted Democrat-imposed segregation, saying: "I'll have them n--grs voting Democrat for the next 50 years."

  • @Mr88playmaker

It's interesting that blacks became Democrats approximately the same time Strom Thurmond, George Wallace, and others became Republicans. It's also iteresting that former Democratic strongholds in the South like GA, AL, MS, etc. are overwhemingly Republican. Perhaps both parties are guilty of sticks and carrots at election time

  • @Djoser42310

Uh, George Wallace remained a Democrat till his death. Thurmond is the only prominent guy who switched to Republican.

  • @lokey441

    Jesse Helms

  • @Djoser42310 you really need to do a little research into American history. Wallace never became a republican. Furthermore - most of the dixiecrats stayed with the democratic party - men such as Al Gore Senior, Robert Byrd, William Fullbright (Bill Clinton's mentor), and dozens more, remained Democrats.

  • You are indeed halfway correct. Most of the Southern states were Dem. strongholds. After the Civil Rights Act was signed, many white Southerners, who had been historically Democrats, switched to the Republican Party. One of the most notable was Sen. Strom Thurmond (then a Democrat) who filibustered the Civil Rights Act for over 24hrs. Nixon famously and successfully employed the "Southern Strategy" to exploit resentment over integration and the Civil Rights Act and switch Southern Dems to Repub.

  • Last time I checked, I was taught the founders were heroes, I was taught that America was good. However, I was taught that African-Americans were victims, but obviously because a few African Americans got lucky none of them were slaves. You cannot take a few examples, and use them as the whole group. However I love all the citations these people give, it helps me discover a lot.

  • Oh, by the way, I didn't think it mattered if history was written by the winners or losers, but since we're on the subject - if they ended up writing history, then how much can this be claimed to be history written by the losers?

  • This just makes me want to stick around with my left-wing fruits and nuts and learn the history that Beck et al doesn't think I'm not learning, so I take on the ignorance firsthand. But I'll give it to old Beckie-poo, he doesn't fail. He never says anything that can be flat-out disproven, but no specific works are every mentioned except the book the white guy holds in hands. So I'll do a little of his work for him. What does Frederick Douglass' July 4, 1852 speech rail against?

  • Perspective is everything. I think what this episode is intended to do is not merely trivialize marginalize the horrors that certainly occurred in US history, but to give a full and complete detailing of the whole history, the good and the bad, so that you can see the things America did right and where it went terribly wrong, and how it went wrong exactly. If you don't know the truth, you can't correct the bad decisions, nor can you stick with the good, if you don't know about them.

  • how come we never see this on bet? black entertainment television? no---black exploitation television!!!!!!!!!!

  • There were whites that held us in slavery and there were whites that fought for our freedom.

Huh, sounds like we should judge people by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Racism is a morons perspective (no matter what race you are).

  • @dannydarias1 What's the difference between now & the wild wild west? When you're in the middle of nowhere (or even in the middle of everything in a city) the cops are often not gonna be there when you need them. Disaster often occurs in minutes & seconds while police arrival times are often measured in high minutes and half hours.

The right to defend your own life & family is crucial to a free society.

  • @ObamAtheist Amen. Defend the Constitution!

  • This is super fascinating. I taped this but accidentally erased it on my DVR so thanks so much for posting this. I will investigate this further!

  • it the Jim Crow laws that stripped Blacks the right of holding Government jobs? There may have been Black members of government after the Civil War but those rights were taken away as soon as the Jim Crow laws came into effect. The movie Birth of a Nation touches on that. Those men had to become Share Croppers.

  • They contradicted themselves. Did the Conservative losers of the Civil War leave this history out or was it the Reagan Era Liberals of the 1980's?

  • George Washington Still had slaves. Southern Whites Still Endorsed Slavery. Let's not be fooled by this. Black people knew about this information for YEARS! They claim it was taken out of the books in the 1980s but BECK had no idea about it himself. The Democrats of The Old South are now the Republican Conservatives of the New South. New Mask but the Same old Mentality.

  • @IHS7 I'm a Republican from the North (in Pennsylvania).

  • @TedVoron Good for you. How does that change the fact that the man in this video said That Conservative Confederates (aka The losers) Wrote the History Books and left out these important men in history? How come Jim Crow was not address as the reason why we never saw another Black Senator until years after 1860's? Abraham Lincoln was a Liberal

  • @IHS7 The demomcrats of the old south have been dead for a long time. Are you saying people in the south are clones of their ancestors and have the exact same mindset ? Please tell us where you learned this !

  • @chaumont20 The Confederate Democrats of the Old South. Their LEGACY died when they switched to the Republican party in 1964. It's a new Party but they are still proud to be Sons and Daughters of the Confederate Army. HEE HAWW!

  • @IHS7 So what your saying is, all people below the Mason Dixon line are racists. Where did you learn this?

  • @chaumont20 You said All, not me. But if someone is in favor of the Confederacy, then they more then likely have the same conscience as those who supported slavey and chose to keep these black men out of our history books.

  • @IHS7 How can you project a persons conscience into someone. How do you know what people think. Liberalism is slavery, your being played. You should hate the game and the player.

  • @chaumont20 Liberalism is what gave blacks the right to vote in the South. Liberalism is what did away with the Jim Crow laws. Liberalism is what gives gays and lesbians the right to get married. Do you know who's against granting freedom to all people? The Conservatives with their fake "Christian" values and fear.

  • @IHS7 George washington inherited his slaves at the age of 13 or 14 and he never broke up any of there families and after the revolutionary war he wanted to free them but he lived in a state were if slaves were freed they would be put back into slavery, that made him write the first federal anti slavery law in america.

  • @1s23d I think i hear violins. Did he sign it before or after he went to go chop down the Cherry Tree?

  • @IHS7 lol

  • @ronmatthews Funny that your Avatar is of Isaiah Bradley. If Marvel were really Our Universe, he too would have been a forgotten hero in America's Past. And Glenn Beck would be running around like a rooster acting like he just discovered something Black People have known for years.

  • @IHS7 too true bro too true. However forgotten by whom? My grandfather told me the wonderful true stories of fredrick douglas, benjamin banneker , the tuskegee experiment, the genocide of the native american etc. Sadly every country on earth has become parasite society with a permanent lower class and in the USA black people were chosen to fill that role. Great thing black people disagreed lol.Lets not forget the millions of white americans who disagreed also.

  • @IHS7 The democrats always took the position that some life is not important, it was the slave in the 1800s, today it is the unborn child. The republican party always stood for freedom and the constitution.

  • @1s23d Why do you consider a child in its mothers womb Unborn?

  • I hate beck but this episode was excellent. none of that weird conspiracy theories just pure history. The Southern Whites aka, the Conservative Losers wrote the History.

  • Am I the only one that find it weird that Glenn Beck has yet to deny that he raped and murdered a girl in 1990?

  • @Achereon You got the Beck allegations all wrong. The story to which you refer is actually Obama allegedly receiving a BLOW-JOB from limo-driver Larry Sinclair. Sinclair claims Obama obtained coke for Sinclair & crack for himself to enhance the encounter. Fearing for his life, Sinclair maintains that he went public with his story because of the mysterious death of a Trinity Church male choir director who was said to have had relations with Obama. GOOGLE IT! Is it true? Obama has yet to deny it.

  • @dannydarias1 your ignorance is palpable if you think the civil war was fought over slavery. Considering most of the confederate military leaders and letters from their troops state they didn't give a Damn about slavery. Longstreet wanted to free the slaves before firing on fort sumter.Lee detested slavery and only joined the confederacy to defend his home state of Virginia. Stonewall Jackson declared to his black servant that regardless of who won the war his people would be free.

  • LOL... there are people commenting here who think the old Southern Democrats were "liberals". This is why some idiots shouldn't even bother learning American history.

  • @ChikeJ Liberal Democrats of today call Black Conservatives "Uncle Tom" (& worse) as a form of racial and intellectual intimidation against African-Americans. That's happening nowadays.

  • @ChikeJ Liberalism is Slavery. The sooner you understand that , the better off you'll be !

  • hey Danny boy stop using old history and applying it to the present it not working. you must like racists democrats because what party has the most former KLAN in it........Democrats!!!! (No such thing as Former KLAN i think)

  • @jamesmichl I dont understand one thing you are saying.

  • First decent show by Beck in a long time! I guess we have to call Beck a racist more often so he actually does something informative for a change.

  • It's so obvious exactly what Glenn Beck and friends are trying to do in this video. For starters, the works of Benjamin Banneker are usually mythified and/or grossly exaggerated. He did not lay down the survey for washington DC. It was Ellicot and L'Enfant and his brother who did. Cringe worthy stuff all around.

  • Democratic party is dead, Republican party still has a bunch of $hitbags

  • @scrtzn Talk about a truly dumb ass statement.

  • Folks, to talk about these matters mostly within the simple minded context of modern US political parties is silly. It is a celebration of America.

  • Liberals are probably so pissed about this.

  • President Woodrow Wilson a DEMOCRAT segregated blacks from whites in the military. He fired all the black government workers but 1 and hate blacks.

President Lincoln was a REPUBLICAN-freed the slaves

  • President Lincoln was a REPUBLICAN.

  • Comment removed

  • Woodrow WILSON began the progressive movement[kicked blacks to the curb] that democrates [ hillary and liberials] say that they proudly are. Byrd from W.V. [highest klansman] fillabustered blacks in universities. The democrates are the new smarter plantation owners passing out bullshit to keep control of you. LIBERAILS CHANGED THE T EXT BOOKS . conservatives are changing them back. INFORMATION IS POWER

  • @TheDavidwoody I am a liberal, and I definitely hated african americans and hid them from the textbooks. Also I belief the correct term is knowledge is power. Anyway how do we know that it wasn't the conservatives who changed the textbooks and now their doing it again? I don't support that theory but I would like you to prove it to me. I wish you luck.

  • ha democrats created the kkk they voted against more civil rights than republicans look it up not that it matters but they all bought by the same interests and its not ours black white or any other color

  • Thanks for sharing this once hidden HISTORY!

  • that till now nobody has gone back to fix the racist white washing of history by W.Wilson is disgusting I hope that history one day remembers Wilson for the fascist he was!

  • @fuzzydragon Woodrow Wilson FISTED American History. He belongs on the scrap-heap of EVIL CRAP!

  • @fuzzydragon

    W. Wilson not just washed out history of these great patriotic Americans but also helped establishing the League of Nation {now the UN} and implementing the Federal Income Tax which is Economic Slavery which today's Democrats love so much. Here in California, we have a 1 party system all Democrats. I can tell you this state is on the verge of collapse very soon due to high taxes and anti business environment.

  • @fuzzydragon What happened 300 years ago does not impact me and my family today. The statement that Liberals changed the textbook is pure non-sense. Go do a simple Google search and you can find out that the Democratic party was founded in 1792 and we know that slavery was ok with everyone back then? This is not rocket science people. Just what do you guys think the word "Liberal" means? Here it is from Wiki. it is the belief in the importance of liberty and equality. The GOP is a dead party.

  • @dannydarias1 That is the old meaning of "liberal", danny. The Libertarians today are the classic Liberals. You go do more research, honey.

  • Stop aligning yourselves with your enslavers. The democrats are nothing but evil. They brought you slavery, lynchings, murder, the klan, jim crow and now they keep us apart through the guise of lberalness .If this country goes into communism we will all be slaves. WAKE UP
