This song is part of the R&B canon and is a classic Otis Redding song recorded for Stax Records and released shortly after Redding's 1968 death. You can't do a classic arrangement of it without a horn section. On the original Redding recording, he was backed by the Memphis Horns.

@klepzo Beards are a long tradition of both American and British rock. Almost every 70's southern rock band had beards featured. ZZ Top, Allman Brothers, Skynard and John Fogerty just to name a few. As far as across the pond-John Lennon and Paul McCartney both grew beards. So did Pete Townsend from The Who. Oops! Maybe check your facts next time. But thanks for playing ;-)
