This is by far the best sounding exhaust I've heard on an MS3 so far. The CP-e is nice too, but this sounds better to me, hands down.

Just for clarification, what is installed... the downpipe and the catback? what about the race pipe?

It is the CorkSport downpipe and cat back with the stock second catalyst.

how can it sound like a scoob ? i mean ive not heard any 4 pot engines or even 4 pot turbo`s i.e gti,vxr,r26 sound like this ?

it does sound mint ! better than a scoob as it seems to be a bit higher pitched and faster revving than the deeper burble of the impreza

it has unequal length manifold (like the subaru, just not as extreme) so it produces a similar sound

The exhaust on the car is the CorkSport downpipe, stock 2nd cat, and CorkSport Cat Back.

guy in my car club matched up with the corksport fmic and corksport turboback got a CEL from running to lean at idle. nothing serious. my corksport fmic should be here anyday and my downpipe might be in the work. loving the test pipe at the moment!! corksport is great and the customer service is top notch!!

With the exhaust by itself no. Some intakes can cause a difference in A/F fo the car.

Do you have to cut the old exhaust in order to remove?

You can either A remove the entire rear subframe to take the stock exhaust out since it is 1 piece or B cut it to get it out. The CorkSport exhaust system is two pieces making installation easy.

There is a bit of overall volume difference between them. The second catalyst does make a difference.
