"Becoming Enlightened" by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and translated by professor Jeffrey Hopkins is a book which teaches the path to become an enlightened being. Thank you! May the bodhisattva, His Holiness the Dalai Lama live a long life and spread the words of Buddha for all suffering beings on samsara.
I think also that bodhicitta, the dedication of oneself to the goal of freedom from suffering and the developing of happiness, to enlightenment for all sentient beings, is important because science does not include a dedication to such things, only the way to our goals. as Hume wrote, reason is the arrow and happiness is the apple which we shoot at with this arrow.
This two ways are awsome! Limitation is i understand because it depends on the faith of everone has to his God. the third way , secular way is for "everyone" who also have no faith but it needs alot of selfdiscipline to control our "daily situations" by our own discipline. For a strong believer in God a little prayer can be more fast in calming/controllingthe mind to be peacefulthan through meditation or own discipine of the mind i believe.
Thank you very much for teaching us your wonderfully lessons of wisdom and truth.
I really love and adore and respect you for being who you are a wonderfully human being with amazing love and patience and tolerance only very few people in this world have.
Wow... So true...thanks for posting.... Always bring peace of mind....
