With cars like these; GT1 and GT2 cars - I want to clear something up..

The sequential gearbox - Does the driver need to use the clutch to shift up? From what I've heard, the driver only needs to use it when down-shifting, is this right?

@Spyker1993 No, the clutch is only used when the car is started from stand still, after that all shifts (both down and up) are done automatically without the use of the clutch.

under full power he can just pull the lever and itll go into gear, downshifting however requires the clutch to be engaged.
