i know right? and coldsteel is ok. sog has alot of assisted opening which is fun and roselli uses uhc carbon steel which is really good. they have beautiful handles as well. google it.

I had one just like it, If you take the compass off and look in you can see a screw holding the blade in, mine broke in half and mine had a sharpening stone. Sorry dude but you really don't know quality when you see it cause this is a cheapo. I got mine for free at a garadge sale cause the guy couldn't sell it, i know ALOT about knives, collecting since I was 7 and I'm 25 now, I do know quality when I see it and trust me that ain't it, Mine was the exact same knife only all black. Get a Ka-Bar
The excalibur brand is very good quality, I've seen some of them retail for $300-$400+.
That's a good knife you got, I'd keep it nice and clean and oil it when needed, that's very important. I have a Boker Damascaus knife with a mother of peral handle that cost me $650.00 and It will never be used...it's just to nice
but do I soak it overnight? because there is grime in the hilt and I don't have anything to get it out or anything and it's stuck in places I can't get into and yeh just wondering if you had anymore tips
oh i know that this knife is cheap. lol have u seen the commercial from the 80's? look up the survior hunting knife commercial. i said its pretty good because its big and menacing looking. to me that means if i need to defend myself the person im defending from will be intimidated by this rather than a high quality smaller blade. also this does have a crappyer stone, my buck haas a very fine stone. to keep it razor sharp. i wish i had the funds to get mre high quality knives but im incollege. :/
wow lol. it might be the fact that the style has been copied alot because i know this knife wasnt cheap and it is kinda old. and i know a crappy knife when i see it. this is not it. so i cant guarentie that the one you see in germany is the same knife and the same quality. but who knows.
Just to let you know, this knife isn't a really expensive, its a good knife, but not really a good hunting/survival knife. It has a bored out middle, which in turn means that the knife blade and the handle are two seperate pecies. so if you had to survive with it, you probbaly at one point will need to cut or hack down a tree the only problem is that the blade snap in 2.My dad got one in the 80's and he still does own it. its better as a convo peice, every one had em in the 80's great review.
yea thanks for saying that, when i made this video i did not in fact know it was hollow (when i had tryed to unskrew the cap it didnt come off so i assumed it wasnt made to wich to me ment it was full tang) but shortly after i posted this video (as you can see from my first comment) i was told to try and uskrew it again, and this time it gave. i hope people read these comments because they really compleat my review.
the string is for tying it around your leg because a knife that long flapps around and gets annoying. so you have it on your belt and you have it tyed onto ur hip
i have the same knife but the blade is black mine has the same handle and mine has fishing hooks and matches and stuff inside the handle look on my profile and click on my knife collection it is the first one

but this is not a survival knife.
This has many points where can easily break...like the can opener...
If you use it for a week in a rainforest or in a simple forest its surely break.A survival knife needs to be strong.
