@Rachulie I believe the term androgynous defines one who believes they personally blur the lines between male and female, and cannot distinguish themselves as a specific gender.
Please I ask you kindly to see my Videos about Transgendered People on my channel and I believe I did a good documentary one.I wish from whole my heart someone someday to help me out to make this public on TV and Internet in all the languages so EVERYONE can understand properly what Trans Person is.
i love it,he explain it in a way i think that is simple to cisgender people,is a good video to show to friends and family...as i don't live in the USA i have to translate it to some of the people i know, but when i'm going to come out i'm gonna use his words, for family and even friends from internet^^
This is so neat, I love that they are talking about it. He is right, it is not a choice, you are born this way. Why would anyone want to deal with all the b/s that they have to deal with? I have seen how hard going through this is. Everyone is made different, and that is perfectly okay. You should be kind to everyone, because it is the right thing to do.
Everybody's different. Be real and whoever doesnt like it they can kiss your ass!!!! People tried to make me white and im american indian. I was so abused for being indian, but u know what i dont give a f@%& about what anyone thinks or has to say. I stay true to me and live my life the way i want. Whatever you are be that and be the best you. Dont try to please anyone, just live life and be free!!!!
Born physically Female but i AM A Male, and i can tell you TRANSGENDERD People are NOT the Problem. It is the "Norms" of Society. Just because we don't fit into your perception of Normal or perfect, doesn't make it so. You yourself aren't perfect. Who are you to Judge? Think about it.
I think too many people see GENDER as Black or White. Thats the problem. We were raised like that in this society. Either your one or the other. The process of Gender that happens in the womb, can go wrong, like any other process. Its just a reality of something that DOES happen. Unfortunatly we live in a Jugdemental hypocritical society where if someone or something is Different and Not Idealistic, we are taught to right away push it away and outcast it. I am Transgendered.
I saw this one when it first aired !!! tragic story indeed , but gave good FYI * to others out there , still needs to be more subject matter & discussion on TG issues on TV
Angelo is a beautiful man with a beautiful heart. He was my therapist and was as gentle as you could be. I highly recommend him without any reservation whatsoever. A nonjudgmental person is a necessity and he is totally professional. A good therapist gets you to reflect and notes patterns you might not be aware of. They don't push or try and get you to make conclusions , it's a special journey. An incredibly painful time ,my sessions actually were my sanctuary .
@meglam2007 ABSOLUTELY RIGHT! Being trans has NOTHING atall to do with a person's sexual identity. A trans individual can be lesbian, gay,bi,queer, pansexual, etc. Gloria Allred is an idiot! If she's going to run her mouth about issues, she needs to at least do a little research.
i feel like as long as you know who you are, spiritually and authentically, fuck what the world and its ignorance has to say, stay you,and just live your life as who you are not who the world wants you to be.the only 2 approvals that matter are Gods and your owns, not mans.
She was just a girl and that is all . Sex and Gender are not the same thing as you would learn in med school . Your Gender is located in your brain and your sex is located between your legs and for a transsexual the 2 do not match . Its sad but true but its a very common disorder .
it's not that common...but it is serious.the rate is about 1:20000 according to 4 decades of dutch research be aware that the results there might be somewhat skewed from the perception of the netherlands as a haven for transsexuals.
@UpstairsMaid actually according to wikipedia the prevalence is more like 1:10,000 from the US, but that data only takes into account those that have had the surgery in the US, many get surgery else where and many more have yet to seek treatment, the Dutch study put it at 1:4500 born male and 1:8000 born female. Some studies have actually been as high as 1:500
it's a living nightmare why would any one think that U could choose to feel this way? It is so inconcievable that anyone would would simply choose to be put into the dangers of being transgender. It is not a choice to be trans, you simply are. The only choice is to actually do something about these deep, and emotional feelings to relieve the socialized pain of not conforming to what others believe you should fit too.
Yeah Montel is VERY supportivem and accepting of transpeople, a lot more so than OTHER talk show hosts. I remember once Oprah had a trans-lesbian on her show. *Born male but becoming a female and attracted to females* And Oprah asks something like, "What is the point of changing?" I thought that was PRETTY ignorant coming from Oprah.
i think im transgender. my body is female but my "soul" is genderless. idk.

i dont understand why people hate transgender people or gays at all.
they dont bother me , so why would they bother anyone ?
its just discrimination against a group of people they know little about .
the back people can rest a little , and now the nutters go after the transgender or gays.
whats next blue eyed people are evil?
