That's awesome seeing Bill France, Jr turn on the lights and awesome that Earnhardt was the first car out.

The Pepsi 400 in 1998 ended up being broadcast on TNN due to wildfires

@Ruddfan1997 Well, yes and no. Yes that wildfires had something to do with it, but Daytona served as a ground for all the firetrucks to converge. Perhaps we should have had a 400 mile race with firetrucks!
