  • This wasn't that good at all. Daft Punk + Chaucer is just... awkward.

  • I liked it, but it was way too slow for my attention span. I wasn't willing to watch the whole thing.

The music, too. I have no problem with Daft Punk, but just hearing that beat over and over and over did not help my willingness to watch on.

Not sure how I feel about it being used for a medieval centric video, either, but I don't think that's a big problem.

  • Sorry to say, but in my opinion this was very bad. Very very bad.

  • Great work man. You are too cool to make something like this.

I already read what software you used.

umm... talking about me, I ve been wanting to make such cool stuff but never really made anything that is cool. I feel damn bad about that. I know to use flash but started getting sick of it now because when I convert the animation made in flash, especially when there is tweens, into a video file, some unknown irritating errors are shown. Hope after effects would be better. Help me dude.

  • This is great! I am a HS English teacher, and will definitely be showing this next semester! What animation program was used?

  • @wesclinenglish I used Adobe AfterEffects. But I think Flash would have worked too...

  • Lol, our english teatcher used this to cast us the role's of the Canterbury Tales, i must say i was very impressed with the video, awesome job man =D

  • the music and animation totally make the story seem better.......i'm gonna use this in my presentation...........and don't worry.........i won't forget to credit you........thanks!

  • @ilemangu Go for it! Happy to hear its getting use!

  • We used your Animation as an intro for our musical, It was a great prologue!

  • @RemcoUp wonderful! great to hear it's getting some use!

  • i really liked this video. five stars for u

  • great little intro; will use it for my Brit Lit class--the 12th graders will love it; thanks!

  • Reminds me of Monty Python

  • Me too! Great job :p

    x

  • DUDE...WONDERFUL...tell me you got an A on this.....

  • @Charisha72 ... eh, I think I actually took the class pass/fail (which was a bad idea) but I did pass!

  • Honestly, I really did not care for this video. It just wasn't my style.

  • The music made the video, drummy; Daft Punk is awesome.

  • Like the vid.

    The music,...Not so much.

  • WOW awesome!!! Luv the music ;D

  • OMG!

  • it sounds like Daft Punk...

  • lol, it's 'human after all' and it is by Daft Punk

  • im a desendent of cheffry choucer our DNA matches im his 15th great grandson according to the DNA match lol dont think he ever married but did have a mistress

  • if ur his descendant u sould know how to spell his name

  • thanks for making this

    Funny music by the way

  • Wicked animation :D

  • hmmmm....strangely satisfying

  • Sweete!

  • Sorry - too stupid for historical movie trailer, too silly for a joke. And the music is extremely boring IMO and it's absolutely unsuited for both... Waste of time, I think.

  • predictable, as your name suggests, you resent the more successful poets of the Early Renaissance

  • No, I don't think that The Canterbury Tales are waste of time but only this very animation. The Tales themselves are great and I read them in the original form as well as in the polish translation with pleasure. Sorry for my poor English, it is perhaps the reason why you haven't understood me. Thanks.

  • this takes "the Canterbury Tales" to a whole new level. good job

  • Awesome! From did you get this? Or have you made it by yourselves?

  • really good haha

  • It kinda reminds me of Terry Gilliam's animations. Especially the ones from The Quest For The Holy Grail.

  • What was this song called? Who made it? {Loved the vid by the way} ; )

  • song is daft punk's "human after all"

  • I think it would be even better with Medieval music in the background. But still, well done!

  • i absolutely loved it!

what program did you use to make this?

it reminded me of the desperate housewives' opening

  • That's terrific!

  • This is awesome.

  • Good, though a bit basic. Could do with a bit more depth

  • Funny and well done!

  • cool! mooooooooooore of this plzzz

  • Are you related to Marcy McCune from Raleigh?

  • nope

    i'm from new england

    though it's possible
