This smokes! I just love that Lonely Boys style. They can play such classic old school rock, and make it sound just like the original, but better.
You can really hear the influence of Carlos Santana in some of their songs, like Heaven, but not so much in this one.

These fellows are off the hook. I loved this song when War did it in 1972. The Lost Lonely Boys just rocked it back to life. The drummer is hitting on all cylinders and the guitar playing is simply great. These fellows are overflowing with talent.

They put on one hell of a live show. They opened up for Robert Randolph and the family band when I saw them, very small venue. The place was worn out from cheering by the time RR came out. And they were way better.

I remeber reading an article some time ago when the manager of Hard-rock Cafe was interviewed - the question being, what iconic guitars would Hard Rock like to have in their collection. Of course his answer included Clapton's mongrel Strat, 'Blackie" & Hendrix's white strat from Woodstock. But surely in that list you would have to include Willie Nelson's beat-up but well loved nylon strung classical acoustic. Sure, Willie was shown up here, but that don't mean we don't owe him some respect.
