@xXAngelface1Xx Yeah, it's not really a "sad ending," but still, I always get choked up during that final scene as he's taking the saddle and stuff off and saying goodbye, then let's him go. But the Sea of Fire race nearly killed both of them, and he knew Hidalgo was getting old, and he just wanted to let him live out the rest of his day as a free horse.
I can just hear all of the horses galloping and neighing. <3
