should have helped in who cares about being payed. People are so greedy these days. other people would have seen you helping and would likely stop and help or just stop.
@jackmehof247 Because 2WD's are sportier, better looking, faster and not everyone wants a retarded 4X4. Remember that and wave the next time one passes your 4X4 so fast that it sucks your paint off.
@LT1HILLINGHOE sportier and better looking? you cant tell the difference except for a 4x4 sticker and the Diffs and T case if you look under the truck, and I have never ever found my 4x4's speed affected and i guess you rwd guys can wave as I pass you because you cant make it through the snow/mud or even speed bump that is in your way
I am an American and think the driver is a total dumbass. Time to get a 4X4 with traction control. I use mine all of the time and have never gotten stuck so far. I agree that weight needs to be in the bed to increase traction. Spining the tires is just a complete waste of fuel unless the goal is to go ten feet/meters in one hour. At least get some chains if nothing else jackass.
why do people do that when the get stuck, momentum is key. TRYYYYY not to make the tires spin like an ol whore. not to mention, ever heard of weight dude?
i remember of someone who had a nissan patrol gr 4x4 with HUDGE tires and he forgot to turn on the back diff.. (only 2x4 on 50 cm of snow... not a good idea..)
Probably didn't have much tread on the tires either, every other car was fine, or the rear end was to light, I drive a van in the winter and put 400LBS of sand in it for traction.
Faker than a silicon implants..there is not enough snow to get high centered and there is not ice under the snow until he floors it every single time...wow thought you were above posting this on here. lol
Shift to a higher gear and slow the rotation of the tire or press lightly on the break and gas and you won't spin, slow = better in bad weather and basic understanding of physics. I had a two wheel drive truck about the same size with no snow tires, I got around without once getting stuck up in Maine.
seems like he wasnt trying to go, hell my little 2.2 liter pontiac would go through that, looks like he was holding brake, look athe the snow on the ground cars all around him are going by FAKE
@virennx if i would have helped him i got nothing but because of these views i got google paying me to put adds on this video, im an ass hole but at least im getting payed. XD
i see this everytime i go driving in winter, gotta love people gunning it when the light goes green and it takes them forever to go through the intersection " YEAH GUN'ER BUDDY!" fucking brown people.
a good trick if you find yourself in this position is to have your left foot on the brake and right foot on the gas. manual traction trick. you can stop your tire from spinning and gain some traction. play with it some and you will find the sweet spot
@bubber25 or just apply the emergency brake gradually untl it puts equal pressure on both hubs & then u have a semi posi rear end instead of a one wheel wonder, lol.....
Why is he an idiot because his tires can't get traction? I think what's more likely is the poster of this video is an asshole. Yeah, that's more the case.
it doesnt matter how many liters it is a lancer evolution is 2.0 liters and this is the easiest thing it could do. and im prety sure that if u didnt rev ur engine u would make forward progress, like dont slam on it foreal
First of all, you need snow tires. Secondly, anything rear wheel drive, especially a truck, needs weight in the back to help the drive wheels put the power to the road. Usually its sandbags but a lot of people around here drive around with snowmobiles or atvs in the back of their trucks. Not only does this provide the needed weight, but, when all else fails, they can drive "Plan B" home. LOL. Thirdly, you need someone who knows how to drive. Problem solved.
@MrKamatik I have a 2wd truck smaller that this on here. a nissan. 2.4L and a 5 spd stick. I drive on the icy roads completely unloaded. I can go places 4x4s cant go. some of us dont have snowmobiles and four wheelers. nor can we afford a 4x4 or even snow tires. It's all skill and experience.
@Microbat15 I drive almost this exact truck (2wd) and snow tires make a world of difference. All the skill and experience in the world won't help you on black ice. You need at least the tires and the skills together.
@o0TheNameless0o it iced 2 inches in 6 hours in my town and i had to follow a crew around town and salt ALL the main and secondary roads. It's seriously in the skill and knowing what your truck can and can't do. I know my truck as well as I know myself. Just sayin'. I run street radials and used NO cables or chains.
Damn...even my truck could make it through that and its just a 2WD, it dont have posi rear either, but then again its because mine is a Chevy not a Mazda
@4rednecks3 i totally agree with the buy american thing... but i like mazda and when this truck was bought ford owned 20% of mazda.... but yeah screw honda .... and toyota
...... And thats a new set of rear tires lol I drive the same truck for work, in snow they suck unless you have lots of weight on the rear axle and some good tires. Stock tires wont get you anywhere!!! In the rain this is a hella fun truck for fish tails and drifts and shit. I work for Mazda; this is a 2.3L 2WD. They dont make 2.3 in 4x4. You can tell by the snoopy low front end and the body style :)
i had a b4000 and the truck was about as bad as it gets for driving in the snow. especially in CA where they don't salt the roads (chains don't mess up the water supply). i've made an ass of myself a time or two when i thought i could get away with not wearing chains. good thing in southern ca we don't have to drive in the snow... cuz there's now way in hell 99% of us would be able to go a mile without killing someone.
First, he should carefully reverse over to get of he icy strip he just made, second he should take off SLOWLY with LOW revs so he doesn't polish himself another ice layer. Spinning the snot out of it will guarantee he stays stuck. I had a 2WD B2300 and drove in the worst conditions simply by handling it right. (But winter is still the main reason I got rid of it). Mazda trucks took a step backwards when they started mating with Ford Rangers.
Dont know wich one who is the biggest idiot. The driver, or the guy trying to make a movie with his hands shaking like there was a tornado or something.

We had a B2200 2.4 diesel.once. No 4wd, only Rwd. (DK)
Thees things are CRAP in the snow....i mean really crappy.
Even with winter tires on, we still had to put about 500 kg, in the rear as ballast, to get some tracksion. + from what i know, thees engines suffers from a weak head gasket..! Ours did blow 2, while we had it.! Worst car EVER.

Worst car EVER.

it bugs me that a differential won't say "one tire is spinning and the other isn't moving so let's apply the brake only to the spinning one."
