I used to dislike sakura pre-time skip after time-skip I became neutral because she wasn't so annoying but now I'm back to disliking her. If she was a true friend why give a half assed confession that was far from sincere? The boy who saved her life, a teammate, a friend. He deserves her respect not dishonesty and I'm glad he saw through her. If it were me I would have slapped her but Naruto's too nice of a guy.
@michikoai I think she was trying to take the burden off of Naruto because I think she thought that it's her fault that Naruto is suffering with his promise to Sakura to bring him back. It wasn't the right way to do it, no, but we all make mistakes because we're all human. I think out of all Team 7 Sakura is the most "normal" one (no kekkai genkai, demon, or graduating early from the academy and becoming a jonin) so she shows more human flaws. I might be biased, but this is just my opinion.
@michikoai i agree with what michikoai said. i think she did it BECAUSE she cared for him; Sai kept reminding her of her promise to Naruto and told her about what a burden it was, and with Sasuke joining Akatsuki and all, she probably realized how it was really unlikely that Sasuke could be brought back and wanted to keep Naruto from trying to filfill that promise for the rest of his life or get killed. Yes, it was wrong to lie, but we all make mistakes, don't we? We just do it in different ways

True that! its very delicate, one wrong word would blow the whole thing up. I'm a NaruSaku fan and yes i'm pissed [even though i have faith itll work out!] but like most, its Sakura that messed it. She went in too fast. I always hope that she will be more open and really think about what shell shes syaing before opeing her mouth!
