in my opinion i think the dias is harder than the final boss but it hard to kick his ass i mean i had to fight him 100 times and he owned my ass 99 times out of those on the 100th i figured out how to dodge his attack but HE WAS STILL HARD

Jepp star ocean is an game "Star Ocean"= snes "Star Ocean the Second Story"=PS1 "Star Ocean till the End of Time"=PS" and "Star Ocean Last Hope"=PS3. This movies are based on the PS1 game.

Dias Flac isnt that good in the game. Only vs. Bosses. Cuz his skills take too long to initiate. BTW Crest Sorcery is the same as Heraldry. For me Heraldry sounds better. But any way awsome anime.

Everyone keeps complaining about how the anime doesn't line up with the game. No, in some ways it doesn't, but it's interesting to see the adaptation of the game and it still makes for an awesome show, so don't be so critical D:

Well Dias and Rena are childhood friends. In the game they mention him already in Arlia. Dias is an awesome character in the game and very useful too. But he only joins in Rena's part of thestory, while Leon only joins in Claude's story.

In the game the "sword of light" refers to Claude's plasma gun.

But once it breaks the phase gun can no longer be used as a killer move for the rest of the game.

In anime characters never really go to weapon/armor shops and upgrade equipment.

In the game, he says himself that "I can't protect other people, I can only protect myself", but then in the anime he's all "protect everybody with all my might".

The plot differences between the two somehow manage to combine the two things I hate most in anime into one annoying character; self importance and gallantry.
