  • Anyone know what the difference between this model and the Sony STR-KS360S is ?

  • @V3DOY The STR-KS360s is the receiver that you hook everything up to. With this system you get the KS360s receiver. I really can't tell you what the difference is because I'm unable to find any information on the KS360s. However there's tones on the KS360. However I would like to add that these models are discontinued on have been replaced with the HTS-S370 series, and now the HTS-S380 series which all look very similar.

  • @obscuresword Thanks for the reply :)

  • @V3DOY you're welcome.

  • itz blu ray//////////?/????

  • I have an older version of this and I love it. Got this for my dad for xmas this year :)

  • great video

  • How do I install this home theatre so all the speakers can be heard

  • Sony Surround Sound Help (READ BELOW?

    I HAVE

    *tv: 50" Sanyo TV

    *Surround sound: sony htss360

PROBLEM: for tv and ps3 my back L and back R don't work only the front L and R work... now when i play fifa11 all my speakers work but for tv, and ps3 movie, it doesn't

Any suggestions, cable suggestions, hooking up?

PS. how do i increase my bass i can't figure it out

  • This system sounds MUCH better than the Bose!

  • @0:42 is that the back of the Bluray player or what ?

  • @DuyAnh1

This system does not include a Bluray or DVD player. I have the SS370 (S-Air Capable...) and it is THE BEST HTIB you can buy at any price up until $1000.00 point or so where Bose has some HTIB options. I have seen this around lately for under $300.00. That is an excellent price for all this system does and does well... You can buy the Sony BRP260 for just over $100.00. I recommend using Sony components if at all possible. Sony is a little like Apple in that respect...

  • @jklsr55 i actually bought a SONY Home theatre system during the Xmas ;D

    SONY BRAVIA 55EX713 for HDTV and BDV-IZ1000W 5.1 =)

Sound & picture is absolutely phenomenon... I feel like I'm in a theatre lol

  • It's not a true 1000 watts. They are inflating the ratings to ridiculous proportions these days. Every few years, the ratings seem to hit a new peak. It's all bullshit. Size and weight are better ways to measure power. I don't think it's even possible for those plastic toys to push 1000 watts. If you own this crap and think it sounds impressive, try buying audio gear from a company that specializes in AUDIO. You will see what disposable junk this is. I owned a Sony receiver fyi

  • @FuckingStanz are u a plastic idiot ?

  • @7dj7 Reword that so it makes sense.

  • @FuckingStanz yea man i dont understand this crap. i have a little computer speakers at 70 watts rms and 140 watts peak. my speakers pretty much play about the same and its only like 140 watts peak, so how does it reach 1000 watts

  • @FuckingStanz i have this stereo and it's sick you don't know what you are talking about....

  • @michisson "Sick" compared to what? Your boombox? Your laptop speakers? Ear buds?

Compare it to real audio gear and Sony is cheap garbage. And again, the power ratings Sony prints are greatly exaggerated to confuse teenagers / wiggers / generally stupid people into thinking it's impressive.

  • @FuckingStanz man you don't know what you are talking about. bottom line...

  • @michisson It's the other way around. You're uneducated in audio and you refuse to admit it because it sucks to acknowledge that what you own is junk. Listen to real audio brands: Klipsch, Paradihm, B&W, Harman Kardon, Marantz, Cambridge Audio. Given the price of the Sony, it was likely far out of your price range.

How are you going to sit there and defend Sony's use of small paper drivers encased in plastic cubes? It's not a matter of opinion, it's cheap shit. Take it apart.

  • @FuckingStanz Those brands are far out of this price range, I meant. Sony is cheap and disposable - the audio equivalent of McDonalds.

  • @FuckingStanz with tech nowadays, everything is smaller and more high def. A certain level of satisfaction may be met today with smaller items than there used to be back in the days. For example, ipods nowadays have at least 4 times more memory, faster performance, and less weight. Times have changed.

  • @jEsus3147 Yet the audio quality of iPod's and home theaters in a box remain terrible.

It's a matter of physics that you cannot have full range sound without large speakers and a big, heavy, amplifier. These things are glorified computer speakers with a puny amp.

Times have changed for the worse.

  • @FuckingStanz You get what you pay for and if iPod quality was so terrible why is everybody getting them? These things are $200 and you probably can't get a better deal than this for that price.

  • @jEsus3147 lol you really just throw the 'people use them = they're good' argument at me? How many of those iPod's are owned by teenage girls and soccer moms or people in general who could give less of a shit about sound quality? Listening to American idol rejects in 128kbps through $3 ear buds is not much of a musical experience. Same argument would imply Bieber is a musical genius because zillions of people like him.

  • @FuckingStanz $3? Like I said you get what you pay for and some things like Justin Beiber are win lose type of things. Some people are infatuated with him and some people just don't like his taste such as me and you for example. iPods are something nobody has ever claimed to go wrong with and by what I've seen with this product it is mostly reviewed positively. You want high quality and loudness? Go spend a few more hundred dollars on JBL.

  • @FuckingStanz MP3 quality sound sucks anyway. FLACC or Records FTW =)

  • @jEsus3147 A stereo receiver + 2 speakers in the same price range would be higher quality than 5 plastic cubes and ridiculously underpowered receiver.

  • @FuckingStanz Just saying Sony does specialize in audio, matter of fact it is what the company started in, and then branch out into different fields. Yes it can push 1000 watts total, just because it is plastic doesn't really mean anything but true there are better systems out there.

  • plastic piece of shit,. 1000w my ass.

  • Did he say receiver? This may have a lot of bells and whistles but the problem is it has no balls! This my be good for a dorm room but any good sized room would eat this thing alive.

  • i just bought one of this with a lcd tv lg i connected them with a scart cable. Is any diffrence if i connect them with a HDMI cable??

  • @iuhasdan HDMI will pass audio to the TV as well. So if you want to watch TV or a movie late at night quietly you can just use the TV speakers to do so.

  • Can you connect it to your computer

  • @goodman4301 just get your 3.5 mm jack to auxhillary (I probably spelled that wrong lol) and your good

  • @Sploo9 its auxiliary lol. But thanks for the info :)

  • can you say me hows better? HT-SS370 or HT-SS360

    thanks

  • @angelsilva54 370 has the "wireless" (not included) rear speakers. other than that they are the same

  • i want to know how is this home theater in action .. the bass 285 watts ? its true or lie

  • @lein9991it true it a 1000w but u will get 285 watts out of it i got one it really gd

  • @lein9991 it true 1000w but u ownly get 285w out off it

  • hmm ok im getting this , or logitech x-540. what should i get for computer gaming and listening to music

  • 2 late m8 or what anywa ygo with logitech if u havent bought this already

  • @LunarPills well i already bought the logitech, but how good are these sony's?

  • yeah there good really good for pc but logitech is best for gaming
