Filter didnt get justice at this Concert... I dont think it was DSM not feeling it it was just FUCKING HOT... I was there bout 15 feet from the stage and we were cooking in the sun..
It's cool how Richard Patrick's voice has fared so much better over the years versus Trent Reznor's voice. Heck Mr. Patrick sounds the same here as he did in 1995.
The angst-ridden hit single Hey Man Nice Shot was inspired by the televised suicide of Pennsylvania state treasurer Budd Dwyer in 1987, while other songs like.. nuff said..
this band is great and I think it is good to have something rare genius but was nine inch nails and start from scratch is quite admirable filter excited .. I love me
ya know alot of ppl assume that kurt committed suicide, but has anyone ever looked up info about it possibly bein murder? like the shotgun shell was found on the opposite side of the body which it should have been, butknow one will know 4 sure if it was murder or suicide
Well theres doubt, someone said Courtney Love tried to hire him to kill Kurt, same guy was found dead on some traintracks 3 weeks later, theres a few other reasons to think he could have been bumped off but I'm sure youve done your research!
lol I was there but I was sitting down just listening when Filter played so I could save energy for later lol. But you can see Austin Winkler from Hinder standing in the background, I remember they were good. Can't wait for this year's lazerfest.
Yes. It is. These kids are just obsessed with Kurt because they know two Nirvana songs...Smells Like Teen Spirit and You Know You're Right.
If you know ANYTHING about BD's televised suicide, and you listen to this song even once, you'll automatically put two and two together. It's a fucking great song.
ok man maybe it was maybe it wasnt no1 will know but anyways i know more then to fucking pop songs man i problay know more songs by nirvana then ur fucking ass but w\e im not arguing on a internet site so dueces!...
they're comin over to the UK with Papa Roach, seeing them in Manchester in a few weeks - gonna mosh the shit out of the place. Hell of a band. Just wish they'd do their own tour here!
i really don't think the crowd really knew who anyone on the main stage was besides hinder. Its sad. I knew 90% of the songs played at lazerfest and i felt so sorry for filter because the crowd didn't feel them at all. I thought the performance was amazing, don't think many agreed though.
That's funny because I knew 90% of all the bands _except_ Hinder. I loved Filter when I was in high school (don't know how much I just aged myself there). But yeah, I didn't know who Five Finger Death Punch was either. That guy looked like a pissed off leprechaun with a bleach-blonde mohawk and bad camo pants. The moshing boys and topless chickies seemed to go nuts for them though.
The crowd Sucks

This song goes out to the Seattle cop that took out the cop killer

Why would a trained police officer be congratulated on a nice shot?
Not the point of the song, anyway. Hope you and your cop friends die a painful death some day.
