I agree with the guest - His evidence is overwhelming - Americans, particularly conservatives, just cannot "handle the truth" here - The Republic was hijaked by criminals for imperial ambitions - The BBC is the most respected news outlet in the World - It doesn't have to make a profit and is at pains to prove its independence from its funding source - Unlike any other on the globe !

Not to mention those WTC building were designed to withstand airplane collisions particularly those of 707 which was much heavier than 747. and the WTC was so magnificently designed w/ redundant supporting structures

The 9/11 Commission co-chairs said the"investigation" was set up to fail courtesy of executive director, White House neocon Philip Zelikow. Why? Why did the Commission resort to "drylabbing"? Why did Cheney lie to the Commission? Why was the USAF/NORAD/FAA jet scramble and intercept protocol altered by Cheney in July 2001, changed to require the permission of the Defense Sec. to authorize intercepts, thus allowing the planes time to hit their targets? Cheney was never in charge of NORAD. The planes being intercepted is not an easy task as many of you make it out to be. The answers are there if you bother to look for them.

No. Prior to 9/11, Cheney altered the NORAD scramble protocols, invoked effectively c.70 times a year. As a result of this modification, the def. sec. had to approve intercepts. Cheney (as recounted by Norman Mineta, under oath), was aware of orders not to shoot down any planes: "the order still stands". The original protocols were restored on 9/12/2001 (!) Nobody was fired, courtmartialed, demoted or even reprimanded. The agency heads who screwed up were all promoted. Why do you hate America?

If the job of intercepts are so "difficult", as you claim, remember they have worked flawlesslyl both prior to and after 9/11, but not on the day itself, when 4 commandeered planes, identified on military radar as such, flew for up to 90 minutes over the most closely monitored skies on the planet, without challenge! It was claimed that the transponders were switched off, but this does not cloak the location of a plane! The plane remains visible on radar, but now, glaringly so, without an ID!

If you actually listened to the entire testimony you would know that the event in question was a shoot down order not the other way around.

According to MIneta's testimony (excised from 9/11 Commission archive!), the plane was visible on radar from at least 50 miles west of the Pentagon (at least 5 minutes). If the orders were "shoot down", then there was ample time to do just that, especially considering the plane passed near multiple AFBs. The plane was NOT shot down.... even the Pentagon's elaborate defense system was not employed. Logic dictates that that the order was *NOT* to shoot down. But that is too awkward to deal with.

The fact that the transponder was turned off it made it difficult to track the plane. Your asking people to pick a needle out of a haystack. On 9/11 only 14 fighter jets were on alert. 14 in the entire lower U.S. Add the fact it's the first time an attack like 911 ever happened, all the chaos and panic, and the rest of the procedure before the shoot down order is given. YOu don't just diall 911 and boom the plane is intercepted. In real life it's alot more difficult than 911 deniers think.

I just attended a lecture by Dr. Griffin at San Diego State University and found his lecture concerning his book "9/11 Contradictions: An Open Letter to Congress and the Press" to be quite intriguing and highly provocative. He discussed so many facts+storiesthat coincide negatively to be highly questionable.Luckily,Igot a book and I recommend that anyone seriously interested in actually researching the FACTS that contradict official press releases and etc.,should count on Dr. Griffin's research.

I completely agree with David Ray Griffin, I think he is in possession of the real truth but I am not offended by Tucker's derision of the BBC and the British media, we should think carefully and remember that Greg Dyke was inexplicably sacked just in time for the atrocities that followed. Several long term newsreaders also left citing an unexplained American presence in the building as their reason to quit. All media is manipulated.
