Justin Bieber really r u kiding me comparing him 2 Paul boy kids just got no brains lol JUSTIN BIEBER ive never even heard 1 song hes song i would not give him the day i heard its Pop singing compare 2 ROCK OR METAL Mahahah JOKE!!!!!
@WinteRest49: WTF are you talking about???? JB is a sissy boy and not musical at all !!! Paul Rodgers is the best vocalist I have ever heard....a professional !!
This album cover art was the mural on my van back in the '70's. However, instead of the human baby nursing at momma wolf, I superimposed my van there. All of it was inspired by this song.
Bad Co was often compared with Lynyrd Skynyrd, but e.g. Van Zandt was a big fan of Paul Rodgers of time with Free. LS even have some songs which are riffed very directly at Free style (On The Hunt...and so on). Ronnie was Ronnie, but never had so heart touching voice like Rodgers.
@TheNokie65 I remember when his brother came back from the record store that they all went outside to the backyard while me and his younger brother stayed inside. About a minute later I told him that I could smell "plants burning". lol
Anyway, when they came back in and put on the record, I'll never forget sitting on the floor and hearing for the first time the 'clicks' to the intro of Back in Black and that very first beat. I was in total amazement. Surrounded by pretty rocker chicks too...
@MegaDyneSystemsExe well, at least I was lucky enough to have been born in the tail end of the greatest era of music in the history of civilization. I got to experience it and live it even tho' it was short lived somewhat. Those were the days my friend.
@TheNokie65 born in '72 and recognized the magic of rock'n'roll back then even as a little boy. Growing up, when a new album came out it was a fucking great social experience with your friends. One of us would have the record and we would all be at a friends house and listen to it for the first time... all together. My first experience with that was when 'Back in Black' came out and my friend's older brother and his friends put it on for the first time... we "experienced" the music.
simple man, simple song but listen to how this man sings it, just repeats 3 times but mr rodgers being the way he is gives 3 different versions, Brilliant, the gods smiled on this bloke.
I bought "Run with the pack" in 1977 and have played it almost every day since.(though it's been transferred to cd now), and this is still my favourite track.
@wolfgar50 I've long been a BC fan and Shooting Star long been my favorite song. It's a mystery that I've overlooked this tune til now. I think it beats all.
Excelente pieza de los años 70 en definitiva esa epoca fue de vanguardia y majestuosidad musical me gustaria poder viajar en la maquina del tiempo y poder estar en esa epoca y darme un variado banquete con las legendarias bandas
Great singer.
