im just having shit load of troubles with the fourth part of the solo. the breakdown from fret 20 something. just pain in the ass. do you get it right note by note always or just pick like hell and move your fingers:D any help or tips how i can get it right?

Yes, but Kirk also used to bend the high E string over the bottom of the neck, giving it a higher sound, so 24 frets is perfectly rational.
