@katelyngrl I know this doesn't answer ur question but I used to bite my nails too and I stopped by buying plain fake nails and I always had those on my nails so I couldn't get to my nails to bite :) and I bought then plain so I could still paint whatever I wanted on them :) hope this helps ^_^

I have an odd way for applying fimo but it keeps them flat I use a very thin about of gel cure it so it becomes sticky then apply the fimo and wrap a bag around it lol Odd but it works and it doesnt bubble or curl! So just in case you were looking for other ways to apply it. :)

i don't understand how nail gurus get fimo slices to work so perfectly! Maybe only in pictures they look nice because actual wear is terrible! I tried doing it and when I put a top coat, it wouldnt dry and the fimo slices kept sliding everywhere and pulling nail polish off. Is there a solution to making fimo slices stay put?

@IHaveACupcake I put seche vite top coat on, apply the fimo and then let it dry. Then I apply another coat but as I do that, the ends of the fimo flip up and the top coat goes underneath and creates bubbles. Lol it sounds complex but I tried bending the fimo slices like you did in your video and it seemed to work better. thanks!

@EthLover93 try using your base coat to stick them on. it will dry faster ans thinner. seche vite can be kinda thick for applying fimo and keep pressing it down. which is why I like to let my nail polish dry before I stick on the fimo so I can press firmly with my finger to make it flat =)

@IHaveACupcake My nails polish is always dry, I just use the seche vite to seal it and put the fimo slice on. But I think it works now pretty well, still a pain though. Wish they were sticker consistency, it would be so much easier! Thanks for your help :)

@HitsuHinaFan854 I have the same problem with the curling lol. try using a very thin layer to stick the fimo on and keep pressing it down so it really doesnt get the chance to curl much. when its dry the top coat should go on a lot smoother ;)

@Cherry8678 anything that is not 100% flat tends to not stay put on nails, you need a solid fast drying top coat. Even my top coat seche vite which I love bc it dries super fast, sucks when it comes to fimo slices

if the fimo canes are hard to cut just put them in the fridge for a bit and make them get cold then you can cut them easy as pie!
