I remember seeing them when I was about 19 or 20 years old. They were the only guys who may have been a touch bit funnier than Benny Hill (no disrespect meant I LOVE BENNY HILL!!). These comedic geniuses showcased some great English comedy. I remember my friends and myself practically rolling on the floor!!! ENGLISH COMEDY IS GREAT!!! They were lost to time, noone knows who the goodies are if you ask them, but will quite happily quote blackadder or monty python.

It's not really politically incorrect: it's parodying stereotypes. There's a difference between poking fun at offensive clichés and subscribing to them in earnest. This short clip is too devoid of context to be funny - you need to see the whole episode to get the idea.

The reason why the ecky thump scenes are funny is due alot to the Northern English dialect. Which foreigners just dont understand. Majority of people in the UK don't talk Home Counties english. BTW used to love eating black pudding !

For those who don't find this funny, it would definitely help to have seen the whole episode, or to bear in mind that it was basically making fun of the TV series "Kung Fu"!

I remember seeing this as a kid, and indeed, I had the re-attach the arse that I laughed off. Next day at school, everyone was being "Ecky Thumped" in the playground (far more pleasurable to give than "Tango"-ing someone).
