  • will there be an event in 08?, iam from the u.s. and may be visiting and would like to stop by and watch.

  • No, there wasn't one in 08, scheduling and all that - but hopefully one in 09!

  • FARBTASTIC

  • I got to this vid, which is super fun to see and hear, I was looking for a reenactment of the battle of the boyne - seemed to me that if ppl would have a reenactment of such a battle, it might bring more understanding. Even Finns and Russians are doing reenactments of the 1939 winter war. In USA reenactments are mostly of the civil war period, 1861-1865

  • The only "re-enactment" of that particular battle is the 'Sham Fight' at Scarva every year around the 12th. However, I wouldn't vouch for it's historical accuracy or authenticity!!! There's Viking Re-enactors, and some living history intereptors in places like the Palace Stables and UFTM and Ulster American Folk Park, but no Normans or anything like that (I believe).

  • me and my brother are from northern ireland and attend many of your events, please look at our videos and have a look at our weapons and kit and tell us what you think about us joining.

  • Hi i was one of the british reenactors at the event. very nice video, is there any chance of getting my hands on some of the photos you took while you were there?

  • Hiya Cyberbeagle1000,

Very good video as it very clearly shows what the Wartime Living History Association are as a group and what we set out to do.

An altogether great weekend enjoyed by all and roll on next year.

    Thanks again,

    Dwyer - 82nd Airborne Division
