  • I'm always looking for music to listen to when i read books by Juliet marillier (Irish fiction/fantasy), and this is definitely going on the top of the list. 8/8 stars

  • @SaxyFlute87 look for lunasa, shannon band (from poland), flook, Kevin Crawford , Michael Mcgoldrick.... all instrumental and good music!

  • i love harp. you're lucky to know how to play it !

  • @aelia88 lucky... probably JUST eager to learn and practice.

with harpen, this is my all time sava favorite

  • @aelia88

It's not about luck. If you think you would enjoy playing music at ANY skill level, start now. I stared when i was 50.

  • This is pure editing genius! I'm in awe of your editing & playing skills......5/5 is hardly enough for this. ☆☆☆☆☆!!

  • Merveilleux morceau, merci 5 ******

  • you two are good! very good!

  • Wow! This is AMAZING! I love the harp. My friend plays it and i'm forever amazed. Great job!!

  • great song! awesome performance!

  • Try searching for "Uti gröna lunden", sometimes also known as "Och uti gröna lunden". If I'm correct that's roughly translated as "(And) in a green bush"

This tune is a Swedish Langdans and there are lyrics too. If you here a midi it might sound different, but it really is the same song. There's also vid from a band called Omnia that played it in the same key.

@ UlliandPJ: well done! Really, really good :) If you hear me try to play this song on harp... it's nowhere near this ;)

  • yes sheet music for this would be awsome

  • i was wondering where u guys got the sheet music for this tune i was thinking about doing this tune for the school talent show and i think we can win with this tune. much appreciated if you can either send me the sheet music or the link to the place you got it.

  • What is the name of this song?? I really would like to know!

  • yes it s every beautiful and well put together the fact they found a way to record each other. clever stuff.

  • Is it anal of me to get annoyed whenever someone calls a tune a song? It's a song when there's someone singin. This is a tune. And an absolutely beautiful one at that. That was awesome.

  • Hi shillaily,

english is your mothertongue not mine !! So do allow, that somebody might not use the right wording for something she likes too. Before you "anal", I´d rather know if you know the name of the tune, that is really what matters to me because I like it very much and as I am a harper myself I would very much like to find it.

    anal greatings

  • Sorry I don't know the name of it. I've never heard it before. Though some of the recent comments might be more helpful.

  • the song is called polska by sava

  • Hi,

thank´s for the info (o:, I saw that it is called Polska by sava but thought that there must be a more precise title (simply Polska was to me like calling a tune a jig or hornpipe), but obviously now it was composed by them and that´s the title they gave it). I really like it, I don´t know if there is sheet music available for it but should I come across it I will let you know (o:

    Greatings

  • im not really sure...i've been trying to find some but to little luck....nutin....i think ulli and pj did a better job than sava

  • amazing, dont hear enough of these instruments these days, its too beutiful a sound

  • this songs remember me the past and the futur and same time and the feeling tell me how the life is quick change also come! i loves this songs! more like this thanks!

  • Multiculturalism at its best .

  • Awesome, wow!

  • You two compliment each other just right.

  • I love this kind of music, it's so relaxing. Listening to a lot Nobuo Uematsu's (composer of "Final Fantasy" music) music, influences me to love and respect those who play Medieval to Traditional Irish music. I simply love anyone who is driven to play such magnificent music. Keep sending more video's, and do you know any bands or singer/song writers who play in this genre?

  • hey richter abend. have you ever heard of omnia or faun? faun is german and omnia is dutch and theyre medieval/pagan/celtic. its all a but of the same style.

they mostly make songs about druidic stuff.

i realy like it ^^ you realy got to try.

  • Really beutiful!

Do you know from where the original tune is taken? I wonder beacouse i recognise it from my homearea in the south of sweden.

  • just wow, thats such a great composition of those instruments!

die verschiedenen tonmelodien ergänzen sich wunderschön!

  • Absolutely wonderful! The haunting sound of low whistle is just something incomparable...

  • It's beautiful...thanks so much! <3

  • This is really good! I started listening for the winds, I stayed for the string. Great job, now to see if you have any more videos :)

  • your 'harp-work' is simply amazing!

  • Guys, that sounds even better then the original..... *drools*

  • Absolutely beautiful.

  • me gusta mucho

  • awsome

what program did u use for thous effects :D

  • wow it was like 10 times more amazing in stero!

  • does anyone know how to get tablatures for the harp part.

searched the internet fanaticly and couldnt find anything

    PLEASE help :)

  • PJ, how come there are two of your? That's really creepy. I can't see where the video splits...

    Amazingly done, by the way!

  • This video is really fantastic, music is very beautiful. I'm going to watching it again and again...

Vaskis4life "I can't see where the video splits..." - probably it's a Adobe After Effect with effect called cloning. You find on YouTube a lot of tutorials with answers how can you clone yourself, effects made in this program are awsome.

  • I think its to show him playing the Recorder, Low Whistle, and Violin..

  • that was actually sarcasm... lol. Internet is bad for conveying speaking tone.

  • nah it wasnt a sarcasm.

  • Another, flute playing, brother!

  • gorgeous

  • such a preaty song :)

i have a question ..... which instrument is a recorder and waht are its classifications. its the first time i hear and dont know what it is.... help :(

  • The recorder is the white one he's playing on the right. It's a medieval/renaissance instrument :-)

    Great music!

  • thank you very much :)

  • Besides i like you as a whistler rather than a fiddler.

It's still a piece of good work, though!:) Congratulations.

  • Nice mixing. But!;) The harp and the whistle go well together. Even when the recorder joins them it's nice when they play 3 together. But when the fiddle comes in it all melts: the harp is strong and loud all the time, low whistle on the left and recorder on the right give a nice background but the fiddle is weak. I suppose it should give a strong duet with the harp but it's too quiet to do so. I know it's hard to achive in amateur conditions but the sound should be more distinct, not so melted.

  • Magical! I love how you're collaborating on a collaboration. What key is this in?

  • this is amazing..:)

  • great!! awesome combination, so soothing and graceful a duet 1500 kms apart, ahh the beauty of technology.

  • Excellent, celtic music is the best, I shall for another video like this.

    Bellísimo saludos desde colombia.

  • Perfect, greetings from Polska (Poland)

  • Magnifico, quizás el volumen del arpa tape un poco el low wisthle. Pero aún así... acojonante.

  • Perfect!

    (And great editing too:)

  • Absolutely stunning... Any chance of getting an MP3 of it?

    Can't wait for more videos.

  • Himmlisch ... :)

  • wow you are one of the best player i've ever heard!!! great job

  • This my friends is an awesome cover. Perfection turned into a song.
