  • @bunh34d stock is usually made by boiling water with the animals bones and some herbs, whereas broth usually incorporates some meat as well. Usually broth is a little richer, but some people use the words interchangeably.

  • i cooked this twice before and my only complaint is that the orzo isn't fully cooked. Chef John can you please help me and tell me what I am doing wrong?

  • that looks easy and good!! Orzo is not one of my favorites but you could probably ajust it to bowtie or any favorite pasta. The asiago was a perfect choice of cheese tho. My whole family would LOVE this.

  • Sort of, has a much softer texture.  Orzo pasta is also referred to as Risoni Pasta. Where I'm from, we call it Risoni.

  • Can you substitute with any other cheese? Not sure if I can find Asiago at my grocery store.

  • If Asiago is somewhere between Parmesan and sharp cheddar you could always use a mix of those two cheeses to get close.
