I don't normally respond to these videos but have to here. I too was at the point where I was going to murder everyone in my house then start on the neighbours. This post is not only life changing but life saving therefore.
Same ..lost the booklet, usually have the handyman string it (single mom of 2 here) but I need to get this done now...thank you! Sitting at the computer with my garden boots tracking mud all over my clean floor, but that doesn't even matter now :)
Thanks so much, I sat there trying to restring our kawasaki weedeater for over an hour and it neer occured to me that it was that easy. Now its up and running fine. thanks
Nice job - very clear and told me about several things I didn't know, like the hooks, the direction, and the slots that hold the line in place. Thank you KC Power Equipement!
WOW! WOW! WOW! you have NO IDEA what the HELLLLLLLLLL i've been going through. mine is almost the same as yours but im going to do it now. I'm hoping i missed those inserts when you first hooked them inside the holes. what a great video. THANKS GUYS!!!
OMG looked on line forever last year, your site first one I saw, You made it SOOOOOOO simple. I have been fighting with the line for two days, and you showed me what I was doing wrong !!! THANK YOU !!
yhmm.. maybe this comment will work.. you did it right, but i do recomend (tech to tech) turning the spool while holding the line to eliminate hangups.. it doesnt reflect on my you tube page, but i've been a tech for 13 years as my day job.. nice video.. 5 minutes of courtesy =lifetime customer
dude.. everytime someone watches this video i lose money.. nah.. just kidding... i do it for free. 5 minutes of coutesy=lifetime customer.. i DO, however recommend holding the line and turning the spool opposite direction of the arrows with a finger keeping the ends separated . this will eliminate possible hang ups even when using the crossfire or simular line.. i know my page doesnt reflect it, but i've been a tech for almost 15 years. good day job..
hey bud.. wind the spool not the line it will eliminate hang ups completely even when using the crossfire line.. evertyime someone in san diego sees this video i lose mony. nah just kidding.. its the one thing i do at the shop for a customer as a courtesy...

Great video. Use .095 nylon lines cut into two 15-20ft sections. ECHO Crossfire if you have the budget.
