@40088922 Not entirely. Sure the game was critically rated, but they really shat the bed with X7. The level design was a bit screwy in X6, but it was really screwy in X7. X7 was loaded with annoying one liners with worse voices than X4 and in my opinion, X6 has the superior soundtrack. Also the chronology made perfect sense. The first level is the crash site for the eurasia colony.

My very first impression for Megaman X series, And totally become a fan of this. Man, I first played this when I was 8 years old. Couldn't beat Infinite Majinion at all.

Now I can use Either X or Zero to cleared all in hard mode without using item. So nostalgic...

... not quite. Zero sealed himself away after the Elf Wars - in which he and X fought. During this, his original body was stolen, but his mind was transferred into another (as explained in MMZ3). Had X6 not been made, Megaman Zero would've went in another direction storyline wise. Zero was supposed to have died in X5, whereas X was supposed to live on. How Inafune was going to bring Zero back in his original version of Megaman Zero, I do not know...

@Frostbite249 Supposedly, had 6 not happened, with Zero dead and only X surviving, being the only one in charge, he would have lost control and became a dictator, so basically the Zero series would have been the same, except that Copy X would be the real X and thus it'd be no Cyber-Elf X. But that was good. So even if he disliked 6 and didn't took part in it, Inafune still bothered to make it canon. And that was better for the story,

X7 and X8 on the other side...

@calendrier22 LoL :D Had to give this comment a thumbs-up since it was rather funny xD But as we all know, some greed sector of the CapCom(or it's related subcompany) decided to put this time less money and/or time on the translations section of the game :) But apart from the bad translation, it is still (hopefully even for languainiacs) understandable and in my humble opinion this is one of the best intro seq's out there.

If you have played all the megaman Zero saga you will know that... well, X died, beacame some kind of cybernetic soul (cyber-elf) served as a guide, but eventually he had to part away. And Zero... well, another event like the thing of Eurasia colony, but instead being the Ragnarok colony, beating the Dr. Weil, destroying the colony, earth being healed, and thats it for Zero, cause he was completly shattered to pieces, remaining only his helmet at the end of the credits... Fuckin depressing T-T
